Why would our “law and order” president even entertain such nonsense? Sean Hannity said on his radio show that Trump “needs to pardon his whole family and himself.” It just makes no sense.

Before Trump can pardon himself and the rest of his crime family members, each person must recite each and every criminal act for which they seek a pardon. The specific pardon would apply to each crime. A blanket pardon is not allowed. A pardon can cover conduct that has not yet resulted in legal proceedings. Trump would be required to explain the "public good" being served by each act of pardon.

Ford pardoned Nixon without specifying crimes. Carter pardoned all Viet Nam era deserters/refuseniks.
