I didnt even know about it. I just did a short review of what it was, and perhaps a money saving thing? We have satellites and other observation equipment which makes this unnecessary, I believe.

The satellites today can read a license plate on a car. And those are the ones they tell us about. The capability of the classified ones is likely greater.

We hold the high ground, Space. With technology, we just tested shooting down one of our ICBMs from a naval vessel in the Pacific, while the ICBM was in space. The test was successful. POTUS isn't kidding when he says we are the most lethal and powerful nation on Earth. Lasers are also mounted on many of our planes and ships. I pity the fools who try and screw with us. We can shoot their incoming missiles out of the sky from space or land. And lasers travel at the speed of light and with the heat of the Sun. Time for people on Earth to start treating each other with kindness and respect.

Or face the likelihood of utter destruction with no nuclear fallout. Boko Haram and Somali pirates would make good examples of taking out bad guys on land or sea. Conventional warfare may be nearing its end. I like the idea of turning our weapons into plows, tractors and combines. People need food more than wars. Especially, China and India.

And Israel has machines that can make water out of the air already. Another reason for Arab nations to have peace with Israel. They can start reclaiming the deserts they live in. Hopefully, the best is yet to come.

We just have to remove the ticks and l***hes from among humanity. And that silent WWIII is already here and being waged behind the scene. Northern Africa could produce pure water from the Med. Sea or air and sooner or later someone will figure out a way to extract the gold from seawater. The future of the Third Rock from the Sun looks very bright to me.
