Amazon.com Inc said on Thursday it would spend more than $500 million on one-time bonuses for its front-line employees in the United States who are working the holiday season amid the C****-** p******c.
Full-time operations staff in the United States who are employed by Amazon from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31 will receive a bonus of $300, while those in part-time roles will get $150, the online retailer said
Several retailers, including Walmart Inc and Home Depot Inc, have spent millions in bonuses to compensate staff for catering to a surge in online shopping during the p******c.
In an earlier round of one-time bonuses in June, Amazon spent $500 million in one-time payments to front-line employees and partners.
The world's largest online retailer has been facing intense scrutiny from U.S. lawmakers and unions over whether it is doing enough to protect staff from the c****av***s.

Amazon employees received a .25 cent raise! At the beginning of the p******c they got 2.00 hour extra and some double time! 2 months into v***s they had it taken from them! They got a bonus that was taxed 40%! Of 500! Then this bonus which will also be taxed 40%! All the other companies are paying more for the same job including the extra p******c money! Amazon took Christmas bonusus away last year that used to be around 800.00 and stock! They made 30% growth last quarter! Highest ever! Yea, they’re a real generous company! They are making employees work 5 days through holidays and thanksgiving! Yea right they’re the good guys!

How many people does Amazon employ?
Now consider those people are working - by their choice - making money for themselves, families, etc. and contributing to our economy. Amazon is providing a service to the country by doing what they do.
Yes - they are 'the good guys'.

I use Amazon as an example - same can apply to Pizza Hut and the Dollar Store, etc.
