Jacob Blake, the 29-year-old Wisconsin man wounded in a controversial police shooting, pleaded guilty on Friday in a domestic abuse case, records show. Jury se******n was set to start Monday, but now prosecutors are dropping a count each of criminal trespass and third-degree sexual assault. In return, the defendant admitted to two counts to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to two years of probation.
This agreement does not cover acts from August 2020, the month when Kenosha police officer Rusten Sheskey shot Blake in the back seven times.
The allegations in the domestic violence case concerned Blake allegedly abusing the mother of his children. Authorities alleged that he terrorized her over the years: allegations included stealing and crashing her vehicle in 2012; stealing an Xbox from her apartment in 2012; and striking her in 2016 when she didnāt give him the password to her phone. That behavior allegedly continued to a May 3 incident, which served as the basis on these charges.
Kenosha police said they were called again to the womanās home on Aug. 23. This led to the life-altering encounter with cops that left him paralyzed.
āKenosha Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2800 block of 40th Street after a female caller reported that her boyfriend was present and was not supposed to be on the premises,ā the Wisconsin DOJ said. āDuring the incident, officers attempted to arrest Jacob S. Blake, age 29. Law enforcement deployed a taser to attempt to stop Mr. Blake. Mr. Blake walked around his vehicle, opened the driverās side door, and leaned forward.ā
Let's recap here. The guy has a criminal record. He is somewhere he doesn't belong. He ignore officers, opens his car door and leans inside.

True. But recall also that John Adams said that our Constitution is only valid for a moral and religious nation-he did not specify which religion-and we are no longer either. If we take a hard look in the mirror we must know that allowing the summer's r**ts, destruction and general mayhem to go without consequences and in fact supported by many of our "leaders" in asking for bail donations for the accused, and the wholesale k*****g of millions of unborn babies since Roe v Wade made it all legal, the thievery of our rulers and the lies and falsehoods of our media and political class, the lessening numbers of people who attend, belong to, or are members of any church, certainly point to our no longer laying claim to either religiosity or morality. The Constitution, if Adams is correct, then is wholly inadequate for the governance of this country as it now stands.
