Now I am sure CC's are going to run around crying that I am being a big meany and bullying them when in t***h, I am not, all I am doing is pointing out what has happened to every god since the first day that we started creating them...we get tired of them and move onto something else...
"The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none who does good." Psalm 14:1
“Thus shall you say to them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these shall perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.” (Jeremiah 10:11)
“You are Yahweh, even you alone; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their army, the earth and all things that are thereon… You are Yahweh the God, who did choose Abram…and gave him the name of Abraham, …and made a covenant with him.” (Nehemiah 9:6–8)
“Thus saith the LORD [Yahweh], thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD [Yahweh] that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.” (Isaiah 44:24, KJV)
“Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel I am Yahweh, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.” (Isaiah 43:14–15)
“Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, who is enthroned among the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.” (Isaiah 37:16)
“I, Yahweh…there is no God else besides me, a just God and a Savior; there is no one besides me. Look to me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else. By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” (Isaiah 45:21–23)
“You are my witnesses, says Yahweh, and my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am He: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am Yahweh; and besides me there is no savior. I have declared, and I have saved, and I have shown; and there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, says Yahweh, and I am God.” (Isaiah 43:10–12)
I was born in '56 and raised in Southern California to a very liberal family. I believed in just about everything and anything... except Christianity. I was into everything from eastern religions to peyote ingesting Yacqui Indians like Carlos Castenada.
And then I started hearing the voice of God, speaking to my spirit, though not audibly in the physical realm. I began listening as the Spirit led me to believe Christ had died for my sins. I found myself led to a Pentecostal altar where I sank to my knees and prayed, simply, "God, I don't know what to ask or pray, I just know I need you."
At that point I saw, in my mind, Jesus. He was on the cross with his arms outstretched wide. He looked at me with eyes full of a depth of love I'd never seen in anyone before, and he simply said, "I died for you".
That intense love broke me.
I wept for the joy and the comfort and peace and joy that came over me. My wife said later, she knew it was real when she saw me start crying at the altar.
I was baptized shortly after, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, as prescribed by Peter on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:38.
Some months later I was born again of the Spirit as God filled me with the Holy Spirit just like Peter promised in Acts 2:33 & 38, and also happened in Acts 2:1-4, 8:12-17, 10:44-46, & 19:6.
That was on Nov. 27, 1983. I have been walking in and with that presence of God ever since. I've let Him down more times than I care to recount, but He's never left me or forsaken me. He is a tangible presence every minute of every day in my life. I will never deny Him, or consciously take Him for granted.
I've seen people healed as I prayed for them in the name of Jesus Christ, and I've seen people receive the same Spirit as I received when I prayed for them to receive.
Mock all you want, that's your choice. But you'd be missing the absolute greatest possible gift you could ever receive in this life, which is a life with your Creator living in your heart.
That's my testimony, in a very summarized form. I'd be the biggest fool ever to live if I denied Him now. I'd rather die. Fact is, I already have. I died to myself, and the life I now live I live by the faith of Jesus Christ my Lord!
I hope other Christians will share there testimonies as well so you'll know that God is very much alive, as is His Son, and they are still saving souls like you from sin and death! You won't be the first to claim He'll pass away, but you will perish with that thought and He and His will live on.
"They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death." Revelation 12:11

"14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke out to them, "You men of Judea, and all you who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words. 15For these aren't drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is only the third hour of the day. 16But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel:
17'It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.
18Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.
19I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.
20The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.
21It will be, that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
22"Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know, 23him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and k**led; 24whom God raised up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.
25For David says concerning him, 'I saw the Lord always before my face, For he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.
26Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope;
27because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.
28You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.'
29"Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was his soul left in Hades, nor did his flesh see decay. 32This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses. 33Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this, which you now see and hear.
34For David didn't ascend into the heavens, but he says himself, 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit by my right hand,
35until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."' 36"Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified."
37Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" 38Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself." 40With many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation!" 41Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls." Acts 2:22-41
"1Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it can't save; neither his ear heavy, that it can't hear:
2but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
3For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness." Isaiah 59:1-3
