If people don't have an income source, and due to the C***d -19 situation , they cannot or there is no point in them seeking employment because there is no employment to be had ; what else would occur but the government essentially paying them to stay home, the only thing about that is the government wouldn't be paying them to stay home [as it was so un-amicably put by one the likes of you ] it would be doing for the people what they couldn't do for themselves [for as long as it could] with the peoples own money , which is not yours solely ,and it would not be doing that with the under lying premise that the problem would be insurmountable and infinite , if the situation was perceived to be such as described by you , it wouldn't matter ,we would probably be in a state of demise

We saw this very phenomena when those on "unemployment" were paid more to stay home than to actually work. Then when things got better, all of a sudden--they didn't want to heed the call from their employers to "come back to work." They preferred to sit home and just wait for the money to appear. The other downside to "paying folks to not work" . . . our nation is already drowning in debt, now there are those who wish to add to the mountain of unpaid obligations? AOC is an i***t, and has little understanding of how the real world works.
