Here's the interesting thing about that, it makes the important numbers, which are how many positives out of however many tests are being done go down. Tests, no matter how many are being done, with an assumption that lots of people besides those with symptoms or reasons to be tested are being tested, need to be down in the single digit positives to indicate a good handle on the region in case.

You are focusing on the numbers that are basically irrelevant, so what if a person gets tested a dozen times, that's a dozen negatives. The important number would be how many positives.

The second part of Rahm Emanuel's "never let a good crisis go to waste" quote was that during a crisis you can get away with doing things you normally can't get away with.

That's exactly what the Democrats have been up to, exploiting the p******c for everything from economic sabotage to trying to rig an e******n.

A lot of republican politicians have gotten it.

Tell me all 50 governors plotted together after trump refused to take any responsibility..

the majority of republican governors all turned to democrat in order to have 50 states fighting the c***d.

Sure, you betcha, that is what it must be..

Governors and state legislatures run states. Other than that, your reasoning is just a tad confusing.

The claim was that democrats are creating a crisis out of a non-critical v***s.. so with the power in the federal and in most states is with republicans.. how could 50 states all do as only the democrats want them to do..

In the Republican states I know of, meaning those with Republican governors and local legislature majorities, they are trying harder to keep businesses open and people working and aren't pulling Cuomos and Newsomes with overbearing restrictions like limiting how many people can attend a private home holiday dinner or forcing citizens to wear masks on the street (as opposed to indoors public spaces).

Cubby I also heard him say that and I think he meant it. He also said he opposed a******ns, so, being a politician first, we will have to wait and see.
Since you have come back from several months absence, you seem much angrier than before, even after your side won the Presidency. I miss the old Cubby. Go Cards!

And you are saying that you agree that safety measures are a plot?

You're stunned? Well, welcome to Trumpian American 2020 where the most important thing is reelecting Donald J Trump. And the e******n is over you say??? Well, not according to conservatives who think that if they don't win there must be massive c***ting on an Olympian scale so they are going to hold their breath until someone declares Trump a winner.

Meanwhile, he has lost every case but one because he has no actual evidence that any c***ting was going on. But losing doesn't stop Trump from making accusations nor does it prevent conservatives from believing every word that comes out of his golden mouth. And the sad thing is that he is going to drive the divide even wider all because he doesn't have the balls to admit that he lost fair and square...

I am a conservative who v**ed for Trump’s policies. The e******n was unofficially over on November 4th and will be officially over on December 14th. That is simply facts regardless of what either side says. Yes, there was some v***r f***d and mistakes made as in every e******n. Given the anger on both sides, the e******n was probably as fair as could have been expected.

As far as losing every case but one, I’m hear to declare that we are playing by golf rules - low score wins. Unfortunately, you last sentence is basically accurate, with exception it has nothing to do with his balls. It is his narcissism. As a country, we need to move on.

I just don't get it...

I need a test just to visit another city... And am still required to mask up if I go into the city... We're smack in the middle of the flu season and I'm on my second cold... Wife was just tested yesterday because she's travelling to the provincial capital for an examination...

I get daily updates on where there are infections... The numbers... And fill out forms to certify I haven't recently cone into contact with individuals from those areas..

It's like y'all are enjoying the bat flu...

I'm just stunned....

Well, you've certainly opened another can of worms. One that Trump h**ers thrive on. They are not interested in "more effective pharmaceuticals" or "more knowledgeable medical workers" or a "greater awareness of how to prevent infection"; they are not interested in finding the solutions to v***l infections". You've only given them another opportunity to BLAME PRESIDENT TRUMP.

How are the number of C***d cases tallied? Testing, right? Is it significant that the US leads the world in testing? Currently, the US has tested the equivalent of 52% of our population, OTH, the two most populous nations, China and India, have tested 11% and 9% respectively.

You never heard this from the media.

Early on, when it became apparent the C***d p******c was a serious threat, president Trump acted to eliminate the onerous FDA regulatory restrictions that were obstacles to the research, development, trials, and production of v*****es. Prior to the p******c, the pharmaceutical companies had to overcome a long string of bureaucratic obstacles, jump through a bevy of hoops, and deal with mountains of red tape in order to get a specific drug or v*****e approved. On average, the time for a drug or v*****e to go from the exploratory stage to Phase III trials is 10 years. Add another 6 to 12 months before the drug is approved for prescription.

In March, on the heels of removing those obstacles, president Trump and his c***d task force launched Operation Warp Speed.

OWS is a partnership among components of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), and the Department of Defense (DoD). OWS engages with private firms and other federal agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. It will coordinate existing HHS-wide efforts, including the NIH's Accelerating C****-** Therapeutic Interventions and V*****es (ACTIV) partnership, NIH's Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) initiative, and work by BARDA.

At least 7 pharmaceutical firms joined the effort. This is one of those capitalist things in which competition among companies produces results. And, in this case, without the bureaucratic red tape and restrictions.

P****r Inc. and BioNTech SE announced they will submit a request today, Nov. 20, to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for E*******y Use A***********n (EUA) of their m**A v*****e candidate, BNT162b2 against SARS-CoV-2, which will potentially enable use of the v*****e in high-risk populations in the U.S. by the middle to end of December 2020.

Bottom line is, because of Donald Trump's experience in the world of business, he was able to initiate a massive government/private sector cooperative effort to secure a C***d v*****e that got results in less than one year.

God forbid such a thing. The Trump h**ers want no part of a v*****e. They'll stick with lock downs, masks and social distancing in hopes of achieving a body count matching Hitler's, that way they can finally charge him with genocide and crimes against humanity.

I think you are right, lindajoy, but it doesn’t make C***d19 any less dangerous and until a v*****e is available to all, probably by next spring, we need to work together to stay safe and healthy. Masks and distancing along with good hygiene will get us through this. This doesn’t have to be a d******e.

Before we move on too quickly, why don't we try a little harder to investigate the stuff that the media/Democrats refuse to talk about. Aren't you a little bit curious what they are talking about? Have we gotten to the point in this Country where we don't care about what politicians do? I can't believe it.

Regardless, Moldy, there are many “ignorant” people. I don’t know what “problem” is being refused to be recognized, I assume the P******c since that is the general topic of discussion. Did you know that there are ignorant people who don’t believe the holocaust happened either? Probably about the same percentage of the population.

Gosh, thanks for the clarification guru. Here I thought laws, enforced by sheriff departments had to be passed a legislative body and signed by the head of the executive. Oh, I’m sorry, I was thinking about a democracy. But, yes we should wear masks and distance. Just don’t send the sheriff.
