Agree with both of you..I'm not as worried about it as much as what is coming across the border, with school to open soon enough and once these people are out running around etc..

What do you think of BOs' EO in how to go about handling anyone "suspected" of being ill??? Is over-reaching?? Or do you agree because of the severity of the illness that he should be able to do as ordered??

I do think obama is over reaching his authority!!! I also think he needs to let Medical Authorities handle the situation and stick with the one thing he knows, like fund raising!!!! Picking someone up for having a respiratory illness and taking them to a Ebola refugee camp is ridiculous!! When it turns out to be nothing more than a respiratory illness they have been exposed to a deadly illness for nothing!!! I think until it is clear something more sinister is occurring home quarantine is quite sufficient!!! People can be educated in universal precautions so as to take care of a sick family member without spreading any diseases. It's all in how well you educate the caregivers!!!

The fact that refugee Ebola Centers are already being established causes me some concern about what is being held back from us!!! After all the Authorities are telling us there is almost no chance of Ebola becoming an emergency here, then they open these Centers as if there is something going on!!! These Centers are very expensive to set up and maintain, why are we going to the expense if there's nothing to worry about!!!

The EO is specific about not including those sick with Influenza, so if you get the flu, you wont get hauled to the hospital.

It is a scary disease, if you read what Polly posted, she is very much afraid, I hope she gets more informed and calms down. Archie and the other poster are right, Ebola is not likely to have an outbreak in our nation, the problems coming over the Mexican border are more worthy of worry.

The serum which the two americans were treated with should, without a doubt be administered to the Africans also, the first treatment which seems to be effective.. Can only be good for all the stricken people.
