Having never seen his show, I can't morn his passing except that kind of cancer is very painful so I will morn him as I would any other person who died of cancer.

I agree Alex was a class act, but he had the questions and answers, plus judges off-camera to help him in a pinch. Still a great show, some days I was hot and some days I was as cold as ice. I loved the learning because history and literature were my favorite subjects. Do you remember the College Bowl show? I only remember it because my aunts used to cream the ones on the black & white tv set and they were still in high school then.
