“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek has died at age 80 following his battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, the show said Sunday.
“Jeopardy is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends,” the show said in a statement to TMZ.

He was a big hockey fan (naturally, he was Canadian). At this year's NHL draft he announced Ottawa's first round choice Jeopardy style. I'm really glad they gave him that honor.
