Lol! Yes! I can only speak for myself, but I know first-hand that bus drivers through the 50s knew how to get cooperation in maintaining discipline. Woe be to the one(s) responsible for his pulling to the side of the road and stopping his bus!

That bus reminds me of me when my mom tried to get me to eat spinach. Didn't happen.
