Who cares? We will be happy to send them all back........but thats never an option with your team and the law breakers you think are poor lost souls looking for a better life...how about we teach them el Southe, el Weste and el Easte.......and stop the el Norte crap.

Actually it started with Clinton then onto BO who is the one that caged the children in separate quarter because the court was concerned for the children's safety and welfare.. Rape and p********a already occurring when in open population with men and boys..or girls for that fact...

From 1990, a three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed Kelleher's decision, and instead sided with the government. Judge John Clifford Wallace and Judge Lloyd D. George (both appointed by Republican presidents) wrote in their majority opinion that "it is clear that Flores' substantive due process challenge to the regulation must be rejected. To the extent the district court based its ruling on this prong of due process law, it must be reversed."

This victory for the INS was short-lived. One year later, the Ninth Circuit en banc (a full 11-judge court) reversed its prior ruling, and in a 7-4 decision affirmed Judge Kelleher's 1988 ruling.

On October 13, 1992, the Supreme Court began to hear oral arguments in the case. A year later, the Supreme Court delivered a significant win to the government, v****g 7-2 in favor of reversing the lower court's decision. Justices Scalia, Rehnquist, White, O'Connor, Kennedy, Souter, and Thomas all held that there was no constitutional right for unaccompanied alien children to be released to someone other than a close relative, and further held that these minors could be kept in detention centers if they lacked a close relative or guardian in the United States to take them in...Scalia wrote: "Where the Government does not intend to punish the child, and where the conditions of Governmental custody are decent and humane, such custody surely does not violate the Constitution."

Certain guidelines were established yet again but like everything else changed once again too....

in comes now 1997 and a “ supposed agreement is met, not law, that actually as it progressed went to catch and release~~ defeating the purpose behind our i*********n l*ws..

From this pount we get into a lot of law challenges over a barrage of things stilllllll claiming inhuman, can’t hold children etc..
Now comes In 2003, as part of a major government re-organization following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Congress abolished the INS, and t***sferred its responsibilities to several entities within the Department of Homeland Security. The responsibility for t***sferring alien minors to their parents, however, was shifted to the Department of Health and Human Services, with the Office of Refugee Resettlement handling both care and custody of unaccompanied children.

Meanwhile, activists continued to allege that the terms of Flores were not being fully met by DHS/HHS. In 2008, Congress passed the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA), which codified parts of Flores into federal law in what are called "savings clauses", preserving certain rights for alien children. Meaning sexual trafficking, rape etc all over again but now under actual laws..

And now Trumps orders reigning in catch and release.... with tighter control on asylum since people started coming with children not even theirs and everyone using it to come into our country...

Also the 450 missing kids I read is wrong too.. And you can bet some parents gone without those kids is because they weren’t theirs to begin with...Would you leave without yours???

There is a lot more to this than can be explained here that’s for sure, a lot more..

You want to know the delys~~ its the Legal issues constantly brought before the courts with different rulings that bring it right back to square one!!!

Want to know how you fix that?? You get Congress off their ass and actually make strong sturdy laws that support the Supreme Court decisions and i*********n l*ws already on the books and then enforce them!!!

Heard this all before, you need to check your facts.

Trump’s watch happened as a result of a new policy introduced in April 2018 by Trump’s then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Sessions said an “escalated effort” was needed to address a crisis at the southwest border and directed the implementation of the “zero-tolerance” policy, to prosecute all adults illegally entering the United States.

In March 2017, then-DHS Secretary John Kelly told CNN he was considering separating children from parents to deter i*****l i*********n. In the Telemundo interview, Trump also said that “when you put the parents together with the children, when you don’t separate,” more people arrive at the border.

In Obama's circumstances it was NOT policy, rather if a child and an adult who arrive together at the border could be separated when border officials cannot establish the custodial relationship; when they believe the custodian may be a threat to the child; or when the custodian is being detained for prosecution.

Immigration experts have told us that family separations were relatively rare under Obama and other past administrations. They did not happen at nearly the scale that they did under the Trump administration.

George W. Bush’s Operation Streamline referred for prosecution immigrants who crossed into the country illegally, but made exceptions for adults traveling with children. The Obama administration initially kept families together in detention, but after losing a legal challenge, released families out of detention after holding them for a limited time.

The controversial family separations under Trump’s watch happened as a result of a new policy introduced in April 2018 by Trump’s then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Seems the mute only worked on Trump's mic! Yeah, fair and balanced, never with a c****e around.

You’ have seen them many times before and know there are many articles on it as well... One of them had to retract their story line claiming Trumps cages and pictures and lost children..You have been in enough threads making your own comments about it for some time now...

You have sufficiently discredited yourself making such a comment...Do you think we believe YOU just because you type~“you typed it there, yeah we believe you”.. LMAO too... You do it to yourself every time... lolol

Instead of trying to attack me why don’t you put a credible source up instead of false narratives~~ 🙄🤣

This entire policy to separate children from their caretakers(family) was a *policy* created under Trump/Pence, period. Cages *made* during the time of the Obama era were for several different reasons, mostly for criminals caught, some for temporary stay until released to go home. These were also circumstances that had happened, which then the president found out about, NOT a POLICY.

With the public blowback, Trump and Pence have tried to mend the situation, but not very quickly or efficiently by any stretch, personally I think it reigns criminally offensive.

The right should really stop comparing Trump and Obama, they are clearly on two opposite ends of the spectrum, the dark being light and the light being dark. lol.

Don't take things so personally, when I said, you, it was an attempt to say something based only on your word is not very credible especially when making accusations, also, and an opinion piece in an editorial is just that, still no fact. The right always tries to deflect off of Trump and skip right to Obama allegations which have always been false. Get over yourself, I would have said that to anyone. The only people who believe the Trump excuses are his loyalists as yourself, knock yourself out, the rest of us will deal with reality.

They should've used it a lot more often as he went off the skidds with his blathering. How many times did he repeat himself, we all lost count with so many different times, that is his format, repeat, repeat, repeat.
One example,
Who made the cages Joe...
Who made the cages Joe...
Who made the cages Joe...etc...

What did that mater, my reply is,

Who made the policy Don,
Who made the policy, Don,
Who made the policy...
Yeah so stfup Donny

Lolol yup, because you typed it, we’re going to believe it~~~

You can roll it that way but laws enacted under Clinton and Obama brought it~~ own it, instead of trying to deny it..

The very same you say here could be said of Trump.. He was using the policy procedures set up by his predecessors and didn’t know what was going on either.. He is running a country with more than just this involved~~ “ he didn’t know how it was all being enforced either..
