Not if you're criminals who are trying to burn you alive ... They don't deserve any protection or service ! !

H**e to break the news to you, cupcake, but police are under no obligation to protect you from anything.

SCOTUS rulings DeShaney vs. Winnebago and Town of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales.

Neither the Constitution, nor state law, impose a general duty upon police officers or other governmental officials to protect individual persons from harm — even when they know the harm will occur. Police can watch someone attack you, refuse to intervene and not violate the Constitution.

Keep in mind, the police response time to a 911 call averages around 10 minutes. The response time of a 45 Caliber bullet is a thousand feet per second.

Yes, the Portland police and mayor adequately illustrated that point......

If you are so fearful of the police, then I would suggest that you don't break the law. Speak nicely to the nice man with the gun, and you will be fine.

When seconds count, the police are minutes away. When we lived on the farm, the deputies we dealt with told us depending on where they were in the district, it could take twenty minutes with lights and siren to get to our place and suggested that we be prepared to protect ourselves.

To protect and serve the innocent, not the criminal. However, you would post a ridiculous comment since you and your party prefer to protect the criminal element.

With your looks, it's a wonder the police haven't already taken you in for questioning. Of course they could just spout the Peeloosli line, " you have to shoot it 1st before you can find out what's inside it". It sounds like she is promoting the "shoot 1st" and "ask questions later."
