Zoning laws are almost always enacted and enforced by local, and not statewide or nationwide, authorities. City governments, town governments, village governments and the like are merely functions of the state government. They derive all of their authority from the states in which they reside.

Zoning laws are most often set by zoning or city planning commissions and those commissions are usually elected by the local population. In other jurisdictions, the Planning and Zoning Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor or First Selectman of the city or town and approved by the city's legislative body, i.e. city council, board of aldermen, etc. So one way or another you vote for the people that ultimately make these decisions on a purely local level. Biden has absolutely no authority to impact zoning laws and there is absolutely no reason to think otherwise.

So you see what you and this fake news article are trying to say just is not possible. Each suburb of pretty much every major American city is in itself another city or village with its own elected leadership. No mayor of a major city has the ability to impact the zoning laws of the suburban cities that grew up around the main city. This whole thought process is fatally flawed from the beginning.

So yep, its just more conspiracy theory trash spread by those right wingers that you think so highly of.

I have mentioned about the Zoning that Biden and Kamala had dreamed of. They don't directly affect zoning jobs, but could influence their democrat party mayors, and County Supervisors, thru channels. Radical DIMs stick together like glue.

I got involved with zoning laws before. There was a plan in our city to change zoning in one of the city locations. Though our suburb gated community was not affected. We have a Home Owners Association with Covenants and Restrictions around the neighborhood. I was once a Board Member.

Because of political stance, I have dealt with Zoning commission in our city. Our city is well planned, but a politician was elected, so stupid enough want to revise the Aesthetic appealof our city. Ye, he was a democrat too. With trashy brain. He won't last here.

Though our Suburb gated community was not affected, I got involved and had the mayor stick to my position. I just don't want democrats revise a well planned city. I wonder most democrat cities are trashy and violent. Fortunately our city is mostly run by elected Republicans. This is rare. I don't want politics, and I don't want politics run over my nose. Most democrat cities stink and you know that.

Not very persuasive there Radi. I don't think it matters if a democrat or a republican is in charge as mayor, there are plenty of successes and failures on both sides. I could show you as many Republican led cities that are as socially problematic as Democratic led cities. The real reason these cites are "good" or "bad" are not held solely within the mayors office fer goodness sakes. Time to grow up a bit if you still are able at your age.
