Or, so closed that nothing of value is let in. 8-)

Kudos!!!!! That is what open minds ARE. Willing to hear all, research all, and make a decision based on what you find the t***h to be. Putting total trust in what others tell you can be a folly, no matter WHO those others may be.

You use the word all, like we can know everything. This is the arrogance I was talking about. I am a simple minded man who understands very little about life. When I say life I mean life in the flesh. Our minds in this world are based on the things of this world. If I say I can speak every language in the world people would call me a liar. They would be right because it would be easy to prove. I never built a rocket ship because I don't know how. Someone who has built a rocket ship would say it is easy because they have done it. Jesus said we speak of what we know. An awful lot of people embellish what little they know to impress people they don't like or care very little about. In the final analysis we will find out how little we know when we come face to face with Jesus

GOOD one!!! I agree!!! How're you doing, Slatten? I've been really busy around the place lately and haven't done as much trouble making as I normally do. BTW, got your halloween costume yet?

I will be the 'Traveling Man', ala the Ricky Nelson song, on Halloween. I will be traveling through the Southwestern U.S. to see one more "lovely girl", on a layover in South Central Arizona around that time! Wyatt Earp will be accompanying me.

Every single person in the world unanimously agrees on the nature of t***h. Just ask anyone you meet and they will give you the same answer: "It is what I believe."

I read somewhere a while back that there are 10,000 religions; I disagree. In t***h, I think that number is closer to 6 billion or better.

There are over 6 billion people on this planet. In a hundred years they will all be dead. Getting ready for the next 6 billion. Maybe.

Hogwash!!!!!!!!! It appears to me that you believe that you will come face to face with Jesus. I presume you mean at the final hour....how about now. You in your religious belief will never have an open mind to anything but your obsession to Jesus. Religions seem to be closed to reality in their daily discourse. Religious and ethnic wars and conflicts have had a continuous flow of violence since man discovered his being looking in the water to drink. Most every God known has required 'bloodletting' as a sacrifice, Jesus being the last known. Most recent 'midterm' e******ns reveal that Christians side with the Republicans because of Pro-Life giving to the birth and then proceed to take away food stamps, deny jobs, cut more necessary entitlements.....all for the RICH. Is that what Jesus would do? HOGWASH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said. It is very difficult be "open minded". I think it admirable to be willing to learn. It is easy to say "I don't know everything" but to act like it is not so easy.
