Wh**ever it is that twitter does, it is not censorship. That you think twitter might as well be a news organization says more about you than the company.

That is true, however, they HAVE now crossed the line where they are going to be classified as PUBLISHERS. That will change their liability under the law! This has to be stopped and should have been done so before now! Enough FB on this has occurred that they SHOULD now realize that the public will ONLY stand for the t***h!

Perhaps treating them as utilities would be in order.
Publishers are under no obligation to print what they don't want to. Some will publish what you want, others won't. Still not censorship.
Besides, from my perspective, what the right is b***hing about has little relationship to 't***h'.

If we are having a problem with a service, especially a free service... the simplest solution is not use it. Too many have become dependent on these social medias and have given them too much control over our lives.
Years ago, I stopped using Facebook because of it's intrusive nature into my everyday life. I occasionally use it to comment on something a family member has posted. As for Twitter, I used it a few times when it was new but don't like it limited posting restraints. As for my phone, I'm sure the battery needs to be charged before I can use it. I carry it with me when I go out and have a 12vdc charger for it.
We have become too addicted to these medias that are like "Big Brother" watching us and ready to silence us if we don't adhere to their "Newspeak"
Yes, it's very easy to use Twitter and Facebook because of it's vast market in reaching people, but we have bright computer programmers that could develop a Bias Free format that doesn't censor us if we post something that is against their political leanings. One of the reasons why Freedom of the Press and Speech was put into the 1st Amendment.
Twitter and Facebook are private companies and should not be regulated. If we don't like their censorship... we should use a format that is more to our thinking.
Quit complaining about These Social Media and come up with something better. Entities that censor our speech and thoughts are Totalitarian and we shouldn't be supporting them by using their products.

Any intellectually honest person would have to admit that what they are doing is wrong. Who gave them the right to decide what is true and what isn't.
Of course any intellectually honest person would also have to see, and admit, to the corruption of our last administration.
