One of the most common messages you hear from the abortion industry is that moms who have an abortion don’t regret their decision.

The abortion industry releases biased studies, deceptive statements, and misleading statistics to push the idea that having an abortion is really no big deal. In fact, Planned Parenthood – the largest abortion provider in the U.S. – goes as far as claiming on their website that most parents are relieved about their abortion.

But as you know, abortion regret isn’t a myth. Abortion regret is REAL.

We hear stories in our Health Care Centers of moms who felt pressured to abort. Moms who believed they had no other option or nowhere else to turn. Moms who thought they would have no support. And couples who followed bad advice and wish they could turn back the clocks.

Then, we hear the fallout of the decisions. We hear stories of moms who struggle with grief and regret for decades. Couples who have broken relationships. Families who will never be the same. All because of abortion.

One way we honor some of the one million children lost to abortion every single year is through the website, abortionmemorial.com. On this website, moms, dads, grandparents, and other family members are invited to share their stories, thoughts, and prayers to remember children who never had a chance at life outside the womb.

Here’s just one of the stories posted recently by an anonymous author:

My Beautiful Baby,
I miss you with ALL of my heart. It has been 29 years and the sadness and regret of not giving you life never goes away. I am SO sorry for my decision. I regret it daily and I miss you deeply daily. I know that you are at peace with the Lord.
You have a brother here, I know he also would have loved you very much.
I acknowledge the personhood, soul, and dignity of this [preborn] child.
With Deep Love,
Mommy

some people make choices they later regret, this by no means should keep woman from making decisions about their bodies and futures, it is and should remain up to them.

Suicide rates and depression for women who've had abortions are much higher. The pro abortion crowd don't like to talk about it

I saw something the other day that said "An abortion doesn't keep you from being a mother, just makes you the mother if a dead baby". Sounds about right.

You mean like choosing to avoid an unwanted pregnancy as opposed to risking it and having to murder an innocent human being?

Yes that's what he means. And the vast majority of times its for convenience not health or rape.

It takes two to make a baby. A male and a female. A male never gets a say in the decision. Just my view. Pimps love abortion, it put his girls back on the street until she brings home her quota of money for the day. Basically a sex slave. If she doesn't make enough she can be drugged, beaten, or killed. You're a dipstick, lying sack of caca, pretending to give a crap. Your life seems to revolve around crap and lies. PP is supposed to report underage girls getting abortions. I've have never heard of any PP provider reporting underage girls to LE. Out of millions of abortions how is that possible? The fix is in. Selling baby body parts is also illegal but that didn't stop PP from doing it. You're a sick puppy who seems to hate women to me. Your moral compass is totally broken and you probably stomped on it yourself. You can no longer tell the difference between good and evil. Pitiful. I hope your not a public school teacher anywhere and I hope you don't have any children.

I’ve been researching the topic of fathers of aborted babies who beg the mothers to have the baby. They offer to take and raise the child without asking for anything other than the mother let the baby live. They get told that they have no say in it even though biologically the child is half theirs. There are a sadly surprisingly larger than expected number of men who either live with chronic depression or take their own lives due to the mother of the child deciding to end their baby’s life. I personally believe that if the father has no rights on whether or not the mother can kill that child, then he also has no obligation to pay for the child if she decides to keep it. As of right now, it seems the father has no rights at all.

You sound too reasonable, you do not qualify as a judge or democrat progressive.

It would appear that within a non-bias court, the father would have his say and the unborn child would be legally represented. It would appear that we would have prudent, reasonable judges too, but in too many cases, we don't.

It’s interesting that if a pregnant woman is murdered, it is counted as a double homicide. If a pregnant woman decides to end her pregnancy, that’s okie dokie. I do appreciate you saying I’m not qualified to be a progressive Democrat. I have to agree with you on that. All I’m saying is it takes a man and a woman to make a baby. It should take the decision of both the mother and father to decide to have that baby or not. My ex wife had an abortion when she was 16. (Not from me. I met her when she was 19). I spent years holding her while she would wake herself up sobbing 15 years later about it. It messes up a woman whether she admits it to herself or not. She ended up becoming a director at a crisis pregnancy center and that helped her come to terms with it to some extent.
