Let's solve our problems

We are going about being represented wrong. We are almost 300 million strong. The only thing our representing understand is numbers. I can't really be a Democrat or republican. They both support areas I don't believe in. There is no punishment for living to the public you can promise anything. Don't listen to them watch what they do and make a knowledgeable decision.

Let's look at our representatives, say their office is contacted by 500 people per day. Let's say at least 10 different topics are mentioned. That is 50 out of 500 notes they see. Not that important

What if as a whole we listed the top 15 problems to solve and organized them in the order to be presented. Let's get 80 % to work at this. 400 contacts a day until solved would make it very important. And we would be represented.

We stay on same topic, daily until solved. Things would start to get done quickly. Don't let the representatives change the topic!

My suggestion would be immigration they have discussed it for 40 years and still not solved. V**e for someone who is not an incumbant. We need fresh blood in those chairs!

"Triumph with Trump"

I kind of understand were Cherokee is going. Solve a damn problem, sort of once and for all.

I've been advocating for years a committee to resolve a particular problem. Like he mentions, Immigration. I'm for throw out all i******s and welcome, within limitations that we set, legals. And eliminate that damn birthright law.

But the trouble is, who would you put on that committee and could they solve anything at all. If the leaders of say the House were to pick the committee, forget it. A waste of taxpayer money for some solution that would be unacceptable to almost everyone and solve nothing. Really, letting Pelosi select the members of the committee. No freaking way.

What you do is let the whole house v**e on the committee members. Say 10 from each party. But the Republicans pick the Democrats and the Democrats pick the Republicans. That eliminates all extremists, the cause of most of the division in America. America isn't built like a V, but like an A. And everyone on the committee must be a Representative for less then four years. First or Second Term. Most Americans would gravitate towards the center if it wasn't for the radicals tugging them right and left.

Once you have this committee, you isolate them for a month to actually come up with a plan. No outside contacts. No God Damn cell phones. Just individual intellect and common sense. Everyday you enter the conference room and take assigned seating by lot. So you are next to different individuals every day and not one side of the table arguing with the other side. And every day there is a different chairman, drawn by lot daily, who guides the conversation. And alternate every so often by committee conversations, and then private conversations with the individuals next to you. Talk as equals and not adversaries, about why and what it does and such, and not who gets more v**es out of it in the end. What it does for America. And write a short bill that is comprehensive and covers all of immigration and citizenship. This bill must have 67% agreement of the committee.

Then bring it to the House floor for an up or down v**e, without amendments. And a requirement of a 67% majority and at least 50% from each party. And a copy of the bill is given to every Representative on the opening of the day on the House floor, and read on the floor. Leadership must be in another room listening and they are allowed into the room only after everyone has v**ed and they must already have their v**es written down and presented to the Sargent at Arms. And do this every year with a new committee until a bill is passed. And then review the bill in five years after implementation, and if it can't pass again, start over with a new bill.

But this eliminates the in fighting and allows a fair discussion between Representatives and not parties. I dare them to try it. But what would the leadership do if everyone found out that they were the problem and the middle of the room is the solution.

My comments are a general comment. Our congress has become Tammany Hall and we are controlled by a bunch of Boss Tweeds. The two party system is what we do not have, it is a farce to keep us in helplessness. No other party is allowed to be in the debates. Both parties tell us there is not enough representation by any other party. Each of the two parties debate against others in their own party for nomination and do not limit to only two debaters. They are afraid of t***h. You are lied to that your v**e will not count if you do not v**e either D or R because that BIG LIE scares people into that belief. If no one v**ed R or D then you would get another party and could toss the D and R parties onto the trash heap of time. Both no longer serve the American Public but are self serving to the ones in Washington only. It seems to me that most of the writers here today understand that but will probably v**e for one of the parties.

I agree in theory and in practice, the only thing is for right now until America is back on her feet. I think we need DJT. Afterward or maybe even while we can get advisors from say the green party or Libertarian.
