Coolest Summer On Record In The US

The frequency of 90 degree days in the US has been plummeting for 80 years, and 2014 has had the lowest frequency of 90 degree days through July 23 on record. The only other year which came close was 1992, and that was due to dust in the atmosphere from Mt Pinatubo.

You do also realize that the Us is an anomaly, and that May and June were the warmest May and June ever recorded, worldwide.

Maybe it's due to the forest fires? Who knows. I know it feels hot this year.

Well, since May was also the hottest May on record globally, it seems like less of an anomaly, doesn't it? How many more months would it take for it to stop being an anomaly?
