In nature, various animal groups have definitions, ie. "flocks" of geese, " herds" of cattle, a "p***e" of lions, " litter of kittens, etc.
The group definition for a gathering of baboons, literally not made up joke, is a "congress.
How appropriate of the 535 on capital hill!

Whoops, a group of baboons is a "troop." To call our congressional leaders baboons is a great discredit to this animal. To call them a group of asses would also be a discredit to another animal, but to refer to them as complete self centered babbling i***ts dicredits no animal and how can you discredit an i***t? I guess by calling the dumbohcrap's the i***ts they are would even embarrass an i***t Eh?

Am I embarrassed!!!!! YES!!!!! Usually I believe research is the king, queen, princess, prince and all other things before posting. Obviously, I did not follow my own personal little monarchy practice.

I believe that Congress fits much better. A troop to me is a group of Boy Scouts and there is a lot more seriously t***hfulness in them than in the Congress of the US.

My only problem with your description of congress is that you thought of it first. I love it!

Since we have so many career Congress people, it is long past time for term limits. Two terms and you’re out forever.
No retirement for anyone in Congress or president or vice president. They are supposed to be civil servants, which means they serve the people. The people should not have to serve them retirement, paid healthcare for life, and many connections that they can find a job as a lobbyist after leaving Congress. Do realize how much tax payer’s money that would save. Also paying for a past president office expenses is truly a waste of time. Here is a perfect example why this should stop.

I agree but disagree. The two term limit should be for Senators; however, allow three for House Members as their terms are shorter.

Do you think that Congress critters should be allowed to serve 3 terms in the House and then 2 in the Senate or vice versa? Of course, that would be very stupid, but then . . . . . . .

Obviously I was not clear. You may serve two terms in the Senate, leave, never to return in an elected capacity. You may serve three terms in the House, leave, never to return in an elected capacity. You may NOT serve in both sides.

How about Senators becoming President? They have been known to do that, you know.

I was being silly but some may not see what you said as what you meant.

Your silliness leads me to say that past history has not shown that Senators are necessarily the best Presidents we have had.

But I still don't think we need more than one for each state!

In a silly mood, bear with me. The issue is Dutchman the 1st Amendment only provides for "freedom" of speech. It does not mention your "think" rights. :) I being a kindly person will allow you freedom of thought. :-D
