A child born on U.S. Territory is legally a U.S. Citizen; one of the parents has to be a citizen of the U.S. though. Even if the mother is unwed an doesn't know who the father of the born fetus is the U.S. still accepted the responsibility of aiding the foreign resident because of the Public Hospital and therefore is responsible for the childs birth. Unless the child is born outside on the streets.
A 27-year-old woman went into labor Wednesday while trying to enter the country through the Port of Lakeville in Arizona. Federal authorities at the southern Arizona crossing ended up having to help deliver the baby. A short time later, she successfully gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The boy will be a United States citizen since he was born on American soil. (

It was 5 a.m. and CBS News national correspondent Byron Pitts is with a woman who is nine months pregnant. She's rushed to a south Texas hospital to undergo a C-section - a $4,700 medical procedure that won't cost her a dime. She qualifies for emergency Medicaid. She gave birth to a healthy, 8 1/2 pound baby boy - born in America. His Mexican mother gave him an American name: Eliot. Eliot is one of an estimated 300,000 children of i*****l i*******ts born in the United States every year, according to the Pew Hispanic Center. They're given instant citizenship because they are born on U.S. soil, which makes it easier for their parents to become U.S. citizens. (

The utter humanitarian disaster we are witnessing on our southern border, deliberately orchestrated by the Obama administration as a part of his effort to fundamentally t***sform America, has pushed birthright citizenship back into the discussion. Because the current policy is that any child who is born here, even to an i*****l a***n, is automatically a citizen of the United States, pregnant i*****l a***ns by the thousands commit criminal trespass in order to give birth on U.S. soil. There is also a bustling business in birth tourism, where pregnant foreigners on tourist visas are hosted by a growing hospitality industry dev**ed to their comfort until the day of delivery and U.S. citizenship arrives. All this has led to calls to amend our Constitution to bring this misguided and misdirected practice to an end. Read the rest of this Liberty Alliance article here:

A passport is a travel document, usually issued by the government of a nation, that certifies the identity and nationality of its holder for the purpose of international travel.[1] Standard passports contain the holder's name, place and date of birth, photograph, signature, and other identifying information. Passports are moving towards including biometric information embedded in a microchip embedded in the document, making them machine-readable and difficult to counterfeit. (

United States passports are passports issued to citizens and non-citizen nationals of the United States of America.[3] They are issued exclusively by the U.S. Department of State.[4] Besides issuing passports (in booklet form), also limited use passport cards are issued by the same organization subject to the same requirements.[5] It is unlawful for U.S. citizens to enter or exit the United States without a valid U.S. passport or Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative-compliant passport-replacement document, or without an exception or waiver.
