The Gaza Opinion Tide Is Turning

Over 70% of Gazans now support better relations with Israel and want to be free of their Hamas government. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/07/25/war-weary-gazans-lash-out-at-hamas-over-refusal-cease-fire/

“Nobody can forgive Hamas for what they’re doing," the journalist said. "No one can forgive Hamas for butchering Palestinians to get power. Most Gazans h**e Hamas with a passion."

"There is fear of speaking out against Hamas, which is why many have stayed quiet until now, according to the source, an editor at a local Gazan media outlet."

“The only reason Hamas rules Gaza is because of its ruthless iron fist and military dictatorship," he said. "We would love to have an independence from both Fatah and Hamas, who are profiting off the Palestinian people. We need to rule ourselves.”

I wonder if there is any group of people who enjoy living under a dictator? Dictators are so few, and populations are so vast, I have to wonder exactly how dictators ever make it to the top. Now that we have watched how Obama managed it, it makes a little more sense. And once ens***ed, getting out from under a dictatorship is problematic. What if all the good people in the world ganged up on all the wannabe dictators and stopped them in their tracks? Would the world be a better place?

Figuratively, they walk on the bodies of the dead. Such an act invokes fear in the population and the take over of power is complete. To a lesser degree that same tactic is replicated here in the US. The initiation of fear (911) has lead to the Patriot Act which has spawned the greatest grab of liberty from the American people ever in the history of our nation. A direct assault on the Constitution that has gone unchallenged in 13 years. Also, contained in that act is the authority of the government to arrest and hold indefinitely a person suspected, real or not, of terrorism. If you think the gov is going o protect you from itself you are mistaken. Remember WW11 and Japanese-Americans who were imprisoned and lost everything they owned. Government will over reach to grab power upon every major catastrophic event because people are scared. Government is run by mankind and mankind is the most ruthless of all species.

There's more than the Patriot Act. The assault on our Constitution has been going on much longer than 13 years:

"COINTELPRO's operations during 1956 to 1971 were broadly targeted against organizations that were (at the time) considered to have politically radical elements. These included those whose stated goal was the violent o*******w of the U.S. government (such as the Weathermen), non-violent civil rights groups such as Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Southern Christian Leadership Conference and violent groups like the Ku Klux Klan and the American N**i Party.[2] The Church Committee found that most of the surveillance was illegal.[2] Consequently Title III of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act, though noting that wiretaps and interception of communications are a vital part of the law enforcement, found that wiretapping had been undertaken without legal sanction and were being used to overhear the private conversations of U.S. citizens without their consent. These conversations were then often being used as evidence in court proceedings."

I didn't know that.; but, I am not surprised. It is man's/women's disposition to make wh**ever they command even more powerful (Supreme Ct, congress, President, FBI, EPA, ETC.) It is a natural inclination to further their ambitions. The Constitution is the only instrument that is limiting government's constant attempt to take all our liberties. I believe that's why government is constantly assaulting it. When does the multitudes become one and completely dominate a minority? When one party is rendered powerless. Big ears O Bum is doing all he can to render the Republican party powerless. The democratic party then becomes a dictatorship.

Yep, America began its death spiral decades ago. Barry is trying to finish it up - at least that's what I believe. The American c****es began the job in the '30's, and c****es NEVER give up.

Hamas’ charter describes in detail the plan for an Islamic conquest of the world. Their struggle begins with Jews and Israel. Hamas is now the only democratically elected political power in the world whose function agenda includes the genocide of the world’s Jews (and by extension Americans), and whose sole defining paradigm is terrorism.

When the Palestinians v**ed Hamas in to power, the Palestinian people knew the destructive and genocidal intentions of the Hamas leaders. And they supported those intentions, de facto, with their v**e.

There will be peace and a vibrant Palestinian economy when Hamas and the Palestinian people recognize and accept Israel’s right to live in peace with their neighbors.
