To discuss c*****e c****e and it’s effect on mankind is an excellent discussion issue, but not one based on blind hatred of an individual, one group of people or one nation.

Here are the 2 real reasons for these vicious fires going on in California. The inability of Jerry Brown and Gavin Gruesome (2 alt rat-ical demorats)to implement the clear cutting of dead trees and dead wood debris by their Forest Service and the spraying of aluminium oxide/barium by way of chemtrails and a process of geoengineering. The aluminium and barium increases the intensity of fires and will even leap over rivers and streams to continue the burning process. The GOP has nothing to do with this. Why do you think 40,000 firemen are needed to put these fires out???

Of course there are many causes that spark the fires raging across the western states and we really can't track them down to one cause. But there's more to starting a fire than a spark. You need three things... heat (such as a spark) oxygen and fuel.

It's the fuel that makes these fires so much worse now than they used to be. There's more of it. Why? because of increased drought conditions... the lack of rain k**ls the vegetation and dries the biomass into fuel for fire. Of course droughts have always been a problem in the western states and so have fires, but for some reason the current drought which started in 2012, has been more severe and prolonged than any previous drought on record and with it comes a series of record-breaking fires with every year getting worse.

Scientists at NOAA are saying this drought would have been bad anyway but not nearly as bad as it is due to... yup, I'm going to say it... G****l W*****g.

I can remember reading the studies as far back as 1978 that predicted these conditions... if we don't curb our emissions, because of the greenhouse effect. Then I watched that concern turn into a political battle with Democrats asking for the concern to be addressed and Republicans downplaying the studies and denying the science upon which they were based. Obviously, the Republicans were protecting the oil business which didn't want to sacrifice any part of their profit for a cleaner environment.

The Republican people v**ed big oil tycoons to the White House and sent their loved ones to fight wars to advance oil profits. Republicans have always been on the side of burning f****l f**ls without any concern for the consequences.

42 years after I first read about g****l w*****g and it's potential outcomes, I am witnessing exactly what they predicted. We did NOT curb our emissions. The Republicans got in the way. Everytime we tried, the Republicans would reverse our efforts. I watched it happen... for 40 years!

So when I see those fires raging, blotting out the sky, destroying forests and structures, k*****g people and animals alike, I blame the Republicans. I don't accept ignorance on this one. There is no lack of information on this. After 40 years, if people STILL don't get it, it's because they choose not to. Therefore the lives lost in the fires was by choice. The choice made by Republicans... e******n after e******n.

And that goes for ALL people who have v**ed Republican over the last 40 years. Even those of you reading this. Yes, I am telling these Republicans with the utmost clarity... YOU are to blame for the fires and all the lives these fires will claim. 100%!
Of course there are many causes that spark the fir... (show quote)

Try asking the environmentalists and the California lefties who lick their boots why there are no fire breaks in these forests, or why they don't allow the cutting out of such fuel as dead trees and uncleared dead, dry underbrush.

Don't blame Republicans for the natural c*****e c****es that have been a fact of nature throughout the history of the planet.

Or by all means, do, if playing the fool is what makes you happy.

Smedley, what I find astounding is that Cali has been having this fire problem over and over for years and still they do nothing to fix the problem. Fortunately Mother Nature in a way is fixing it for them. Pretty soon there'll be nothing left to burn but then if they get a good rain storm the whole state will slid into the Pacific because the land has been denuded. Mike

We can only hope!
Only stop it from sliding East of I-5.
Then I’ll be close to the beach.

Odd. In 1978 I was studying physics in college. That was a few short years after most scientists were predicting a coming ice age. In 75, or thereabouts, the crisis de jour shifted to g****l w*****g. The only hope was to make drastic changes requiring turning complete power over to a centralized government. It was the only way. And it had to be done immediately. If not, by 1990 it would be too late. We would be in a rapidly rising heat spiral that nothing could stop. By 2000 the sea levels would have risen by 60' or more. By 2020 all life except bacteria, and a few insects, would be gone from the earth.
Personally, I addressed the issue by moving near the coast and buying sunscreen. Still waiting for my house to become waterfront property.
Seriously, all credible scientists know the earth is currently warming. The earth has ALWAYS been either warming or cooling. We live in a dynamic solar system that is continuously changing. Blaming 'made made' g****l w*****g is unreasonable because it can not possibly contribute more that a miniscule amount to the vast planetary energies that are the true cause of our current g****l w*****g trend. Furthermore, even if we donated 100 % of mankind's wealth, energy, and abilities to 'fighting' g****l w*****g, we could only make a barely measurable difference.
No. What needs to be done, if anything, is what man has always done. Adapt. Change. Take advantage of the new climate as the changes occur. Everyone worries about rising sea levels. But the rising level, if it happens, will open new opportunities. People worry about what will happen to our fertile crop land. Answer: it will shift northward, and unfertile land will become rich. People will move. People will adapt, and a lot of them will become very well off due to new opportunities. Change is difficult, but few choices are more foolish than to try and keep everything in the same old comfort zone. It is not possible.
As for blaming republicans for the deaths in the fires. You are being stupid. If you want to blame someone for deaths, how about blaming the democrats for encouraging and supporting the deadly r**ts in our cities?

You're exactly right, I also recall the same information at the same time, thinking then how perilous it sounded and that we would never allow it to happen and yet here we all are. Fires, tornadoes, and hurricanes raging out of control and still, we hear the out cries of denial to the insanity of the right propaganda, that nothing is happening, it is all simply the natural course of the earths changes, and still catering to the oil moguls who are a l***h to the earth.

I can't help thinking, what are they thinking, that they're going to jet out to another planet? This is it folks, the beautiful blue green gem of the universe.

Human beings seem determined to reach the brink of disaster. What does it take for people to wake the F up?
Maybe it's time to hit them where it hurts and sue them to the hilt for the damages being inflicted by them, and the fraudulent lies and misinformation to cover it up, money is the only word they know.
