Every word of your post is true, not only that but the jobs numbers have been revised downward most every time. The Obama administration, and the collaborative media always tout the U-3 number, the one that Obama changed how the numbers were calculated, but the number that includes those millions no longer collecting benefits, is the U-6 number and that one is 13+ as the unemployment rate. Everything about this administration is a lie.

Another reason for the unemployment numbers dropping that no one seems to be considering is the large amount of Baby Boomers retiring daily. One more person retiring means one less person actively looking for work.

Generation X is an extremely small generation sandwiched between two larger ones. It remains to be seen how lopsided the unemployment numbers will become due to this unusual anamoly.

Lets say this is true but it's not it a bunch of bull s**t because all major companies and corporation's in the country are doing great . Have you looked at the stock market lately you moron. I have made back everything I lost up your Bushy deregulation policy plus another 38% under Obama.

So why is it that the jackass TP politicians just block any kind of jobs bills or anything that would help real American people. You have to be pretty stupid to believe that crap

first the market is it jumping because the fed is pumping 85 bil a month into it no other reason.all these cos you say are doing great is because they have cut jobs and expenses just hiring part time.
second the republicans have sent 40 jobs bills to the senate and none of them have even come up for a v**e.
as far a tp blocking bills they cant block ANYTHING.OF COURSE YOU KNOW THAT AND THAT MAKES YOU A LIAR.

And you p***e yourself on research? It's straight from the US government, specifically the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, a supposedly "accurate" source of information...and if that's true, it's not any spin.

There is also another reason the numbers have dropped, Obama's policies have been so disastrous that millions of jobs no longer even exist to be filled, even the collaborative media had to admit it. And what are the liberals saying when they can't lie about the figures? They say that not working is better because you have more free time, absolutely d********g, rob people of their ability to provide for themselves and their families, and their dignity

A shrinking work force and a rising entitlement class spells disaster.

I do not know where you guys live that you have no jobs and only part time work is offered.
Even my 19 yr old grandson has full time work at a reasonable ok wage. Most biz are not set up to change from full time work to part time work. They need staffing for full days or even 24 hrs.
The roads and construction is moving along.

I simply do not believe you that are b***hing and groaning. Maybe3 you simple do not wish to have a job. They are out there. Yes, we have not reached a boom, but things are better..

The construction industries still hire full-time. It is the retail and restaurant businesses who no longer do. The jobs most recently added to the economy were retail and other service jobs. Thus, they were part-time.

When things get tough for retail stores, they cannot cut back on the number of workers because customer service would suffer. So they hire part-timers to fill the slots needed, and leave the full-timers in the dust.

Been to Home Depot lately? Part-timers who don't know a hammer from a screw. That's the reality of the jobs added to this economy.

I did hear that about Home Depot... So I have to give you that point.... However, I think we are recovering and hope nothing comes down the pipe to ruin that. I am so old I don`t job hunt, but all my offspring make me worry...

It's not just Home Depot it's all over retail and service jobs. The days of the full-time customer service representative who actually knew what they were doing is about gone.
