He was good wan't he? He had all of them laughing at those roasts. In the Jack Benny one he played like he was Jacks tax accountant and then read his return to the audience.
I loved his belches and other digestive shows that made him really appear to be drunk.

I don't think that the greatest nation on Earth is a figment of my imagination.
A man who owned a hardware store hired a kid to work for the summer. He told the kid when he makes a sale try to make a second sale. The man said here comes a customer . Watch me and I will show you how. The man went to the customer and asked if he could help him. The customer said he wanted grass seed. He got the grass seed and started to tell the customer all about the new lawn mowers. Pretty soon he sold the customer a new lawn mower. He went back to the kid and said that is what I want you to do. The man said here comes a customer. Try to make that second sale. The kid asked the customer can I help you. The customer said I need a box of kotex. The kid went and got the kotex. Then the kid said how about a new lawnmower. The man said what do I need a lawnmower for. The kid said your not going to get some so you might as well cut the grass.
