I don't remember that one but I bet my brother would have if he were still around.

I remember it. It was classic Abbot and Costello.

I still watch all those old Andy Griffith marathons all day sometimes. I remember all of them but love to see them again. Don Knotts was one of the best comedians we ever had, too.

So many here are old people so must have heard Andy Griffith do this little thing that I find so hilarious. He describes a football game in a way that few could do as well from the standpoint of a boy who was headed for a tent meeting and got caught in the crowd going to a football game.

I first heard this thing in the early 50s and it is an excellent example of how funny the comedians of that time could bring on the kinds of laughter he did without using the kind of language those of today use.

Yeah, and Korman could not keep a straight face around Conway, who always cracked him up with laughter!

Korman's unplanned breakups were often the funniest part of that night's show and the others often went with him.

Conway is who made Korman so funny.

He made all of them funny. Carol often couldn't keep a straight face with him.

I didn't have a full indoctrination into Conway's 'Dorf Does Golf' videos, but I understand they were great! The few I did see were hysterical.

As far as Korman, his role in 'Blazing Saddles' was not much more than similar skits on the 'Carol Burnett Show'. He was talented, but a one-trick pony, IMO.

I just did some looking on Dorf on Golf and look what I found. It is music I really like and German people doing what they do best.

The 'Dorf On Golf' videos I am referring to had to do with Conway being a comical golf instructor. It may not have been too successful, commercially. I will look into it. 8-)

That was quick. Google: 'timconwaydorfongolf'

BTW, I'm sure most everyone here remembers Tim Conway as Ensign Parker on 'McHale's Navy' in the mid-60s sitcom.

Not I, but then I wasn't into cartoons.

'Dorf On Golf' was Conway live, not a cartoon. Try that link I just gave OldRoy. One skit was with Johnny Carson.
