Most people do not realize that Iran use to be Persia, and has only been under Islamic ideology for less than 170 years!

I'm a bit confused. Islam become the dominant religion in the 7th century (AD 651) and the Pahlavi dynasty in 1925. What happened less than 170 years ago?

Very good news! Trump has CERTAINLY played a part in this! Just hope we are not so distracted with our own problems during this e******n, that we cannot be a part of putting it back together in a solution that is favorable to the Western World!

True, we had them on the ropes and gasping for air. And the UN v**ed to allow them to start trading again. Even our so called allies just v**ed present. It may be time for a little blockade of the Persian Gulf of anything entering or leaving Iran. Let's see who really wants to be on our bad side and comes to their defense? I bet no one will.

I remember double digit inflation and fixed rate mortgages of 20%. I could actually see my paychecks buy less every two weeks. First time I ever got double digit raises to fend off the inflation. Carter was a waste.
