Excuses! Excuses! Excuses! Excuses are like Assholes every body has one. I have heard to many times that people are a product of there Environment. If that were the case this United States would never have existed. The Colony's were oppressed by Great Britain to a point where life was unbearable.
Was there a cry from the people for the help from the British? No they fought back against oppression and the greatest free Nation in the History of mankind was born. A Government of the people, by the people, for the people. Freedoms so vast it can be explained in 3 words. Pursuit of Happiness. But what is combined in these 3 words is the trademark of our nation. Freedom of speech, freedom of choice, freedom of religion, freedom to assemble.
This was the very fiber of our for fathers. Laws were set forth as pillars to our society. which protected every individuals rights. Yet injustice pops it's ugly head. There are and always be those corrupted by money and power. Those with self interest at any cost. They are self evident today. Religious persecution, R****m, A******n, Gun Rights, Homosexuality, Immigration the list goes on.
As individuals we have a right to disagree. But no right to push it on other people through some radical meaningless agenda.
What I don't understand is what happened to personal responsibility. We are so divided that most of us have no idea who are next door neighbor is.
A government so huge its out of control There is 1 government employee this includes government contractors for every 13.5 people in this country.
Does this make sense to you. Because if it does please help me understand.

Dr. Ben Carson for president! Check him out! He's the real deal AND he loves America!
Read Carson's books "America the Beautiful" and "One Nation"

I know all about him.
But what do you think the Banksters will do to him?
The Monarchy is not going to sit back and let him take over !
This is a real true Individual. I think the people understand him and will support him. I know I will. I don't think money will be issue in 2016. Money has reared its ugly head one to many times.

Carson is his own man; answers to no one (except maybe his wife). He has no agenda and I truly believe will not cave to pressure from anyone. His two books "America the Beautiful" and "One Nation" are fabulous, a must read, I think another big asset is he's not a politician. Everywhere I go, almost everyone says they are s**k of politicians because they 're all crooked. I don't believe ALL are but probably most. All the more reason to seriously consider Carson. Just listen to his speeches. Comments are appreciated, esp from liberals and/or progressives that know about Carson.

I agree with most of what you said. I cannot understand your not knowing your next door neighbor. I did a mental visit of my neighborhood, and found I know a lot of them. I walk most days and spend more time talking than I do walking.
Yesterday my next door neighbor brought me some tomatoes which they grow in their back yard, a few days earlier her husband trimmed some bushes for me. Good neighbors improve your life.
if you live in large populated areas in most cases you don't know or want to take time to know them

You are missing a lot. Give it a try. You won't like all of them, but I bet you will have a lot in common with most of them.

I like him too. I'd like it if he and Rand Paul ran.

There is a Paul Rand and a Paul Ryan. I get them confused. One of them was making sense in a speech the other day, and I thought, "He is going to run for president."

It is Rand Paul, Senator from Kentucky.
