I went to the National Day of Protests this weekend, both days!!! Like I said I am 60 and a disabled Woman. I live in a suburb of Phoenix, Az.. Friday only about 50 to 60 people showed up. Being Friday is a work day none of us were really surprised. Several local News stations were there as well as the Az Republic newspaper reporters. No one from the Pro Amnesty side showed up. Many people honked in support as they passed by. We said the Pledge of Allegance, and prayed together.i don't know exactly how hot it got, but it had everyone looking for shade. No one from the Capital building came out to
Speak to us AKA Gov. Jan Brewer, opinions , most of them negative were
given on her no show.

On Sat. Approx. 80 to 100 people showed up, again no one from The Pro Amnesty side. We again said the Pledge of Allegance and prayed together. One of the organizers laid out 16 sheets with pictures of people that had been k**led by the i******s. Many pictures were of Border Patrol
Agents, a few dating back to 1921 and 1941. Several pictures were of people of all ages who were I. The wrong place at the wrong time. 2 teens died in the drive through lanes at fast food restaurants. Many we're k**led by i******s driving drunk. The weather was over cast so it wasn't quite as hot. ABC news casters came and a couple newspaper reporters. One car load of Hispanics drove by and shot their mouthes off, that was the most action seen. Apparently people find these Protests on Facebook or twitter be cause the local news stations and newspapers don't like getting involved at the beginning of these events. I think something needs to be done to get the news out better. Anyway that's it for my reporting of the Phoenix event. Did anyone else go to the Protests in your states???

I did not say that. Don't put words in my mouth!! I said we need to find a better way of getting the word out about these events!! For your information Fox News ran the story, and Phx was covered. Saturday ABC came, so there was National News coverage. Friday 319 cities Nation wide held Protests, Saturday 321 cities. Every state in the Union was involved!!! Therefore thousands of people came out for the Protests!!!

wait until you see the protests in the not-to-distant future. the ball-less right wingers are finally waking up. when the 'silent majority' starts screaming from sea to sea...people like you will be the ones who become silent...you see, we've had enough and protests will not be enough to 'enlighten' us anymore. can't wait.
