Why is there so much h**e and mockery around a single medication? Is there really no evidence of its efficacy? Dennis Prager has been following this politicized medication for months and provides scientific facts that the mainstream media attempts to suppress.

tucker,, I do not think you see this as it is.

the medication is not banned.. you can ask your Doctor for a prescription if you wish to have some..

I would hope you have a good Doc and that you follow his/her advise. what ever that may be..

It is effective against malaria and has long been used for that..

Not effective against many other ailments.. and with a side affect of heart problems.. I would think very few people would wish to take this unless deemed very much needed..

But you do as you wish..

Having my own artificial body parts, I would only take it as a last resort for Malaria..

I don't think you even listened to this video since it is 30 minutes long. You responded in far less time...14 minutes! You just HAD TO BE the first l*****t to dismiss this, didn't you? Now who is missing the point? Or are you only arguing for the sake of argument instead of addressing the issue discussed. The points you raised are addressed in the video. But you lefties always love to immediately shut down any dissent to your ideology instead of considering the evidence. Watch the video. Then tell us what you disagree with and why.

Tucker,,, well you are correct.. I should have been clearer.. I watched the first few minutes and it was clear that I would not enjoy the rest so I shut it off..

My remarks still stand.. I said what I said and still would say them..

What other points did you think may be in any way suitable for discussion??

trucker, According to our CDC and other medical authorities, this medication does not have any positive effect on the disease, and may in fact cause harm to the heart. This shows that it is Trump (who has no knowledge of medicine) is the one trying to politicize this medication.

So you believe Big Pharma and the CDC instead of trusting the scientific method and peer review. No one has to try to politicize this medicine because they did it long ago, not Trump. You go right on and believe what you want to be, see what you want to see and hear what you want to hear. I'm not saying everyone should take HDCLQ. I should hope it doesn't have a positive effect on the disease. I am hoping for a positive effect on the patients. May cause harm to the heart isn't the same thing as does cause harm to the heart. Hot dogs cause harm to the heart and so we eat them, most of us anyway, in moderation.

By the way, it's tucker, not trucker. I am not a trucker.

The problem isn't hydro, the problem is an administration promoting an off label use for the drug. Trump should have let Doctors and patients decide these issues.............................not profit from a national disaster.

How is Trump profiting? Say what you mean! I don't see how doctors and patients are profiting from a national disaster. Explain please.

That's funny, I have a few doctors who say otherwise. But on a different note isn't there a "free to try" EO?

He actually thinks we listen to Trump about important things like our health or lives and he isn't alone. All of them do. I guess next they'll expect us to walk in lockstep too.

trucker, You are one loyal Trump cultist. As you know, the CDC including the worlds best infectious disease doctor, has said that scientific tests prove that this medication has no efficacy. Of course you can always find a doctor that would say that it does. I will choose to believe the CDC, and NIH rather than Trump who will never admits he was wrong about anything, and lies about everything. Dr. F***i is the man.

In 2005 F***i's team said it was effective against c****av***ses. Now "medical authorities" say it isn't. In other places they are having success with the drug but those people are shouted down and the MSM shuns them.

Who benefits? Why would you let people use a cheap drug vs a $2000 per day treatment? Has Big Pharma EVER been on our side? No, and they have a lot of influence with both parties.

To anyone who's paying attention it sure does look like the left is weaponizing this drug.

Fart-wind,

I'm not saying HdxyChlqn is the cure. I've stated that more research is needed. But you lefties always ignore the fine point and try to paint everyone with a broad brush. The current research is inconclusive because of conflicting results. The only reason you anti-trumpers are opposed to it is because Trump mentioned it as a possible treatment that should be looked into. Anything Trump says automatically triggers your trip down De Nile river.

India, with a population of 1.4 billion people, is the second most populated country on earth, yet we must ask why India has had such remarkable success in keeping C***d infections in check.

Currently, India has recorded 2,152,020 confirmed cases and 43,453 deaths.

Would you believe HYDROXOCLOROQUINE?

Experts Explain: The case for using hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to treat C****-**

HCQ Helps Contain C****-** Cases: New Evidence and a Major Retraction

This Indian slum contained a possible C****-** disaster with hydroxychloroquine

On July 9, 2020, Asia's biggest and densest slum shocked the world by announcing just one new positive C****-** case despite being a cluster and hotspot.

Dharavi is no ordinary slum. It is one of the densest in the world, housing more than a million people. It provided some of the background for the Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire.

Dharavi contains pockets where as many as 650,000 people are crammed into 2.5 square kilometers. In comparison, New York City has only around 95,605 people for 2.5 square kilometers.

India feared the worst when a cluster outbreak of C****-** was reported in Dharavi. It could have become the biggest C****-** disaster zone in the world. But by using proactive measures, Dharavi contained the v***s.

Media around the world, like the Los Angeles Times, have reported the success. Even the World Health Organization praised Dharavi.

Reports credit the huge turnaround to various factors. Most focused on Dharavi's use of widespread testing and contact tracing. One is the use of an anti-malarial drug. But they ignored the policy most responsible. Indian doctors used hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) for prophylaxis (preventive) treatment — the same drug the American media have politicized.

Dharavi's C****-** infection rate dropped drastically from April through June. In July, new infections were very low, almost reaching zero on July 9.

Officials have credited this turnaround to "a combination of hydroxychloroquine, vitamin D, and zinc tablets along with homeopathic medicines."

HCQ has been widely used across India to treat early-stage C****-**. It is also prescribed for prophylaxis among those who have come into contact with people who have tested positive.

In India, HCQ has always been legal. The government's official C****-** task force, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), highly recommends it for high-risk people like medical practitioners.

The ICMR guidelines recommend prophylactic use of HCQ for the following categories:

1) "all asymptomatic healthcare workers involved in containment and treatment of C***D19 and asymptomatic healthcare workers working in non-C***D hospitals/non-C***D areas of C***D hospitals/blocks";
2)"symptomatic frontline workers, such as surveillance workers deployed in containment zones and paramilitary/police personnel involved in C****-** related activities"; and
3) "symptomatic household contacts of laboratory confirmed cases."

In other words, HCQ is for anyone with the slightest chance of contracting C****-**.
