When I was a young kid, around seven, I wore a Confederate Cap with the strips and bars of the Southern Battle F**g for about 5 years
When my older brother and I played the board game Gettysburg, I always took the South. When I was around 12 they came out with facsimile Confederate money; I used all my allowance to buy it. I had a plastic model of Robert E. Lee on his white horse, Traveller. It was about 6 inches or a little more tall. When I was in my teens, I visited the Civil War Museum in Mid-Manhatten several times and bought the huge tome by Bruce Catton, "The Civil War." Then there was the Saturday Evening Post article "If the South had won the Civil War." I cheered and was delighted. What happened to me?
I read. To put it in da Bronx language, the so-called Rebels were slime bags, no matter their personal beliefs or the idea of State Rights. I don't even care about s***ery as far as this question goes, no matter how convincing is their defense of owning people: it was their betrayal of the union and armed attack on our country's principles and values and fellow citizens. No forgiveness.

Another brainless rant. No one betrayed anything. If you had any knowledge of history based on fact rather than your own myopic, reality-challenged prejudices, you would realize that.

You have gone crazy crazy crazy " If I ever disown, repudiate or apologize for the cause for which Lee fought and Jackson
died, let the lightenings from Heaven rend me and the scorn of all good men and true
women be my portion. Sun, moon and stars all fall on me when I cease to love the
Confederacy. 'Tis the cause, not the fate of the cause, that is glorious"---- Major R. E.

This has got to be the most appropriate message we could ever say to Rumi and his alter egos!

No forgiveness! Really! What happened to all that βlove is all that matters to a Christian!β When are you going to start actually following your own theology? πππ There isnβt room in that cold heart of yours for LOVE..............just h**e lives in there!
BTW! The Civil War is over and the South is still very much alive and well!

You would have a lead position in Spain for the Inquisition. So tired of your anal Judgment and never sharing an opinion on the topic. You are just a troll. Bless your heart.

Be honest for a change. I did comment on the topic. This is your typical answer when you donβt like a reply.
It is you who h**es when you refuse to forgive. You place yourself above God.

Pray tell, please show your comment on the topic. Be honest for a change because you never have. You are here just to attack me. And where did I refuse to forgive? The same gaslighting you always use. You are just a mean-spirited troll toward me, but you might be a "nice person."
Edit: Oops, went back and read my initial post on the topic. I very clearly said 'No forgiveness.' That was wrong. An overstatement, a way to emphasize my foolishness as a youth. I am usually very quick to forgive, finding almost nothing, or nothing, that someone else can to harm me, though I will defend values and principles that are under attack. Of course I can forgive the misguided passions of the Southern Rebels; I had a passion for their cause until later in life and many of them who fought and died were younger than when I changed. You were right, Rose, to condemn what I said.
