Dr. Anthony F***i, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, testified Friday before the House Select Subcommittee on the C****av***s Crisis, wrapping up a week of high-profile hearings on Capitol Hill.

The big news from Friday’s hearing was that F***i said he was “cautiously optimistic” the United States could have a v*****e ready by the “end of this year and as we go into 2021.”

If you were going to take one thing away from Friday’s testimony, that probably should have been it. It’s tremendous news and, if his timeline is accurate, it’s a testimony to human ingenuity..

However, that doesn’t mean you should bury the other stuff — particularly the inconvenient fact that F***i agrees the Trump administration’s C****-** policy decisions saved lives and that he was actively involved with many of the more controversial ones.

During questioning by House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, a Louisiana Republican, F***i praised the administration’s moves to largely ban travel from China and Europe — both of which were widely questioned by both Democrats and the media at the time.

And, as it turns out, he was involved in the decision-making behind both travel bans.

“Do you think that decision saved lives, Dr. F***i?” Scalise asked about the China travel ban.

“Yes, I do,” F***i responded.

The head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said the same thing about the European travel ban.

As for the “15 Days to Slow the Spread” — the initial March guidelines from the White House C****av***s Task Force — F***i said he “was very much involved in that” and “I believe it did” save lives.

When it came to extending the guidelines another 30 days? “Yes, I was very much involved, and I agree with it,” F***i said.

One big reason Saint F***i and the Democrat governors are so dead set against HCQ is that there is no profit for Big Pharma in a 65 year old drug that long ago lost all patent protection. They favor new, patentable drugs that take a long time to come to market, so they have to keep C***D boiling until then. PROFITS, don't you know. Saint F***i has a financial interest in certain new, patentable drugs, so he has an incentive to downplay HCQ.

It's also a fact that rich Democrats (*cough*Gates*cough*) have a huge financial investment in v*****es, so it's in their interest that C***D remains a hot problem until their patented v*****e is ready. More PROFITS, don't you know. And since that v*****e will be made in China, that is behind the Democrats protecting China from all criticism for the WuFlu.

It's also a fact that the longer C***D disrupts the American economy, the better the chances for the Democrat to win in November, so it's in the interest of the Democrat governors to keep their lockdowns in place and keep their bans on HCQ in place as long as possible. If Democrats can keep the lockdowns going until the v*****e is ready, which they have touted, the economic depression will guarantee Trump loses in November. It's all good for the Democrats; all bad for America and Americans.

It's also a fact that Saint F***i loves the fame and adulation that the Left is heaping on him, and that is conditioned on his continuing to oppose Trump and giving, from his bully pulpit, opinions that support the Democrat strategies.
