This applies to so many things, and particularly to the fear mongering from Trump and the right... mail in voting, what's to fear? The registration process gives a longer time and more chances to verify voters against a voter roll. There is a hard ballot that can be checked and re checked if someone thinks numbers aren't right. Sampling numbers can be picked and checked to see if someone's fears are valid and to what extent.

Fear is being used to create the expectation of fraud...okay, so, we will be able to see if those fears are valid, calm down. It's one thing to be aware of the potential for problems and deal with it, it's another to project problems to where it has created fear and people looking for as in believing before the event that it will happen. This creates a preconceived belief that it will, and locks people into refusing to believe it didn't happen when the outcome is not what they wanted.

Now on the other hand, if there is an expectation that there may be fraud, the purely logical move is to develop a system well in advance that makes it smoother and better checked so as to prevent the fraud being worried about. Spell out how you think fraud will happen, and take measures to keep that thing from happening.

The fact of this matter is that neither Trump or the GOP can explain any way fraud can happen let alone happen, and the day they can is the day McConnell needs to take a vote on the ways that it can be prevented before hand. They intend to scream fraud despite there being no evidence of it, and run with the idea of invalidating whole blocks of votes on that premise. If you find say six cases of fraud in 10,000 votes it doesn't invalidate all 10,000, although this is the way things have been handled on multiple instances.

It’s the idea of a back room of democrats counting the vote that scares me.
The Democratically controlled Congress itself is proof of what the democrats are in favor of.
I don’t trust any of them!

You are assuming that those in charge of the process at the local level want a fair election which is a fallacy when it comes to Democats.

Trusting a Democrat in this hostile atmosphere is about as smart as putting Diamond Springs rattlesnakes in one's pocket.

This sounds very intelligent and well thought out. Unfortunately, it has two flaws. The first is that it ignores established fact. There has not been ONE SINGLE vote-by-mail tried at city or state level that has not been a complete disaster. But liberals like to ignore established facts in favor of what their 'common sense' and ability to 'reason' tells them. The second point is that you are basing your analysis on the assumption that the parties are honest. At least one of them is not. The democrats want vote by mail because it will make it much easier to get away with voter fraud. It is nothing less than an attempt to steal the election, as they have tried so often in the past. The democrat motto: The end justifies the means.

I agree! When you vote in person, there are local people from your area in control of the process & the voting machines. You can see them, you can talk to them and if there is a problem you can seek their help.

When you vote by mail, you have ABSOLUTELY no idea WHO, if ANYONE will be opening that ballot and what they will be doing with it!! Yes, these people will be supervised, but BY WHO? They can't be seen or questioned either!

There were times in the past when if a pandemic had occurred, most people would have never questioned the validity of mail-in-voting! But, the USA is NOW at it's probably most EXTREME POLARITY! The question of validity is IMPERATIVE if we are preserve any semblance of an HONEST ELECTION!!

There is nothing to fear about the demorat party. They are just a group of innocent marxist, anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-God, anti-Liberty, anti-Gun, anti-normal family, pro-immorality, pro-sexual perversion, pro-racism, pro-sexism, anti-science, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, pro-sharia, pro-islamic, pro-muslim, anti-white male, pro-43 different sexes, anti-freedom of speech, anti-intellectual diversity, pro-tribalism, pro-murder, pro-corruption, and pro-criminality for starters. To trust a demorat is to trust Al Sharpton to tell the truth about racism.

I just bought 25 t-shirts that have emblazoned on both sides, "Dems fear this" and it has a picture of President Trump on them. I am handing them out to my friends.

It's a little more than a handful. While the figure of millions of votes being lost is bullshit that has been debunked, there have been tens of thousands of mail-ins not counted because they arrived too late, were illegible, were obviously fraudulent in some way, etc. This is an aggregate total over the last four elections.
Maricopa County AZ, (Phoenix) had 87,000 undeliverable ballots because of faulty voter registration.
You Liberals talk endlessly about voter suppression, yet you support mail in ballots that disenfranchise voters of all political persuasions at an enormous rate.

Mail in votes bite Liberals in the ass also. Over the past four elections there have been literally tens of thousands of ballots all across the political spectrum invalidated because they were illegible, filled out improperly, arrived too late, etc.

Mail in votes might be just the thing to insure a Conservative landslide; given the near illiteracy of so many Liberal voters. The likliehood of a screwup that will invalidate their ballot is fairly high.
