Has anyone denied that President Trump was impeached? If so, I have not seen it. He absolutely was, and is now the third President in history to have been impeached. So what? Is he supposed to hang his head in shame over a ridiculous charge from his political enemies that could not be proved? I do not know if he is technically innocent, or if it should be called not guilty, but his authority was not diminished one iota. Contrary wise, every man, woman, and child bright enough to tie their shoes KNOWS it was a partisan plot to try and undo the 2016 e******n. The only question each citizen has to ask themselves is: Do I approve of such slimy tactics to undo a legitimately won e******n?

Article 1, Section 2, para 5 of the US Constitution gives the HOR sole power of impeachment. (A House committee impeachment hearing IS NOT a criminal proceeding),

Article 1, Section 3, para 6 of the US Constitution gives the senate the sole power to try all impeachments. (A senate trial IS NOT a criminal prosecution),

The impeachment process as established by the Constitution is a POLITICAL process only. And, contrary to your post, this process is LEGAL. After all, the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land.

Article 2, section 4 of the US Constitution establishes the standards for bringing charges for impeachment, it is very specific, it -

* DOES NOT establish congress as a criminal court,
* DOES NOT establish a way to accuse a president of a crime,
* DOES NOT include a broader category to accuse a president of crime,

Article 2, section 4 of the US Constitution - The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or OTHER high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

The word "OTHER" simply means that high Crimes and Misdemeanors must be equal in seriousness to Treason and Bribery.

The Articles of Impeachment filed by the HOR against president Trump DO NOT meet the standards for impeachment as established by the Constitution of the United States. Congressional democrats attempts to criminalize the impeachment process is not only a violation of the Constitution but an egregious ideologically driven crime.

And how can ANYone with a shred of sense or self respect possibly look at what the democrat leadership has done over the past 25 years and point fingers at the republican party and say "dirty politics".
