Masks are not worthless. They are good for some things in some situations. If you wear a typical home-made mask while being in a room for three hours talking with somebody who has C****-**, the mask probably won't help you. But if you wear the same mask (clogged or unclogged) when you have C****-** and don't know it, when you are out shopping and briefly come within 6 feet of one person after another, the mask will probably significantly reduce the number of people you infect. I find it a similar idea to covering our mouths when we sneeze.
There's a wide variation among counties. There are a few counties in the U.S. which have had only zero or one or two confirmed cases of C****-** and no deaths from it. They're usually sparsely populated counties. It likely helps if they spend most of the time outdoors and not much time congregating indoors with many people. Good luck in your county.
C****-** is new, not fully understood, spreads tenaciously in many places, & there's no v*****e for it. There are a few other things to say about it, but I'll stop there for now.

There are anti-masks. They also do nothing, but it appears you are wearing one. To me doctors are quacks unless they take the time to talk to you. Nurses and nurse practitioners are great they DO talk to you. I spoke with about 15 about masks, gloves all this crap. They said "don't tell anyone we said this, but it's bull."
