WHO WERE THE REAL S***E OWNERS AT THE HEIGHT OF S***ERY? - IT'S NOT WHO YOU THINK

In light of all of the talks about s***ery recently amid the protests, I wanted to share some information that I found helpful.
Die-hard liberals want to try and accuse every white person for being a s***e owner or a decent of a s***e owner by virtue of simply being white. But is that really the case?
When you look at the 1860 Census data and take the averages you end up with about 1.3% of the population in the United States that actually owned s***es at the height of s***ery.

This includes s***e owners that were white, native American and black. All three peoples owned s***es.
But here is something more important. Look at these names:

JP Morgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, New York Life, Tiffany & Co, Aetna, Brooks Brothers, Norfolk Southern Railroad, AIG, Wachovia, USA Today, Lehman Brothers, N M Rothschild & Sons Bank in London, Fleetboston, Brown Brothers Harriman, Canadian National Railway Company, Barclays, Brown University, Dartmouth College, Rutgers, Princeton, Harvard and Yale.
Why mention those companies you may wonder. It's because I want to show you the correlation between large corporations and s***ery.

Since the census data reflects that approximately 1.3% of the population owned s***es, I would feel safe saying that the majority of s***es were owned by big corporations, given the way that they are enslaving us and marketing social justice now.
Most of the white working-class Americans you walk past every day on the street probably have no direct connection to a single s***e owner. On the other hand, the U.S. corporate nepotism machine has a slew of them.
These same institutions that profited from s***ery also profit from private prisons.
Scapegoating s***ery solely on anyone white was done on purpose, as usual, to keep us from looking at the 1%. The top global corporations who ens***e us today.
S***ery was a business model, not just something that people did for fun. And those on top of the economic business chain today solidified their positions due to s***ery. They built their successful businesses on the backs of s***es.
Your average blue-collar or 9-5 working white person likely does not have a bloodline connection to a single s***e owner while Jacob Rothchild does.
At the end of s***ery, these corporations still needed a way to maintain control of their fortunes without being so they made the face of s***ery the white man, in general, to steer the spotlight off of them.
This way the poor w****s and poor b****s would have friction while the wealthy elite who were the primary benefactors of s***ery can play on both sides to keep the attention off of themselves.
Everything ill that happens to society from the Holocaust to s***ery was propagated by the same rich banking cartels to include our endless wars.
The white co-worker or supervisor is not the enemy, in fact, he has the same enemy that every American does!
They will always push race issues as people start to wake up to keep the heat off of themselves.
The same corporations that ens***e us in debt now were the same ones who ens***ed people then.
At best a few suburban white families may have held some in-home servants but it was the wealthy elite who provided, and established the largest plantations.
Ironically roughly 1.3% still control all of today's wealth so those rich people screaming Black L***s M****r while marketing products are wealthy due to s***ery and are unapologetic of it.
The white taxpayer doesn't owe anyone any r********ns. IF anyone owes r********ns it's the large corporations that were built on the backs of s***es.
So let's all get along with one another.

You’re right that there were white, black, and Native American owners of s***es in the South. You’d be right in saying that until 1856, most s***es entered the US through New York and Boston, and that the elites of those cities are descended from those who profited from s***ery.
You’d be completely right in saying that the top 0.01% of wealth-holders control 95% of US media, the five multinational corporations that own US media, and indeed the leadership of both major parties.

But. S***ery.

I’m not excusing the behavior of people who have hijacked the civil rights movement, but let’s look at what it did to people.

It made them commodities. There are US citizens who don’t even know from where their ancestors came, because they can’t find out. Their ancestors were shipped like cattle. Unfortunately, states’ laws were also written so that giving freedom to a s***e was illegal, or only exposed them to further peril.

In Louisiana, Maryland, South Carolina, and Virginia, free b****s owned more than 10,000 s***es, according to the federal census of 1830. Some actually bought their relatives from other s***e owners. They didn’t free them because it wasn’t safe to, until laws were changed.

What g*******ts are doing now is WRONG.

But please let’s not forget what s***ery was.

The point is that there were people, whether white or red or black, who actually inherited human beings. AS PROPERTY. And regardless of whether they found it repugnant or not, to simply release the s***e exposed that s***e to further danger.
The institution was, in itself, WRONG.

Thomas Sowell documented that there were a large number of abolitionist societies in all of the s***e states including South Carolina where, I believe, he wrote more than in all of New England during the 1830s.

Interestingly, two leading American abolitionists were the Grimke sisters of South Carolina. They were Quakers who were excommunicated for speaking and writing publicly on the subject. Quakers didn’t agree with s***ery, but those gals should have stayed in the kitchen, don’t you know? The Grimkes and other suffragettes fought for the black v**e, as well.
Sadly, Frederick Douglass and his gang threw the suffragettes under the bus in 1869, giving black men the v**e, and delaying it another fifty years for women.

SOME b****s bought s***es to protect them. But that was not the norm. The first black s***e in the North American colonies was originally an indentured servant to a black man who didn't want to release him when he had served his indenturement. It went to court and the court ruled indenturement could be made permanent. Before this, the only outright s***es in the colonies were American Indians. Later there were Irish sold as s***es as well.

Your list of corporations is bogus. Bank of America was started in the 1920s in Los Angeles. Wells Fargo was started in the 1850s in San Francisco. Both banks had offices only in California. JP Morgan was a 20-year old student when he went to work in a bank in 1857. None of your first three corporations had anything at all to do with s***ery. I suspect the rest of the companies you name are equally bogus.

I also wondered about that, and so did a little brief research, into only one of the companies. JP Morgan’s family and he himself, did indeed profit from the s***e trade.

Other s***e policy writing ventures I have encountered did not exceed $300,000 in capital investments.”

So it looks like I was right about Bank of America and Wells Fargo, and wrong about JP Morgan. None of that matters anyway. No one born in the last 150 years in the USA was a s***e or a s***eholder. I don't believe the "sins" of the American fathers are visited upon their sons. I put "sins" in quotes because s***ery was an ancient, accepted, and world wide phenomenon in the 18th Century. But our Founding Fathers may have been the first in the world to take steps to do away with s***ery which had been foisted upon them by the British. Our Founders wrote a Constitution which provided for abolition of the s***e trade beginning in 1808, and enacted such legislation in 1807 to be effective in 1808. All the northern states had abolished s***ery by then. Getting rid of s***ery completely required the Civil War. America has a proud history of eventually doing away with other unfair systems such as denial of various civil rights to women. America is not perfect, and will never be because all humans are imperfect, but America always strives to get better.
