Wearing masks and sequestering does hold down the numbers temporarily. If the intent was to prevent overloading the hospitals, it was successful. If it was to prevent anyone from ever catching the bug, it was a waste of tempers, time and money.

Once the v***s got into the general population, it became unstoppable and that was the case before we ever heard of the v***s.

Everything going on right now is pointless. Nothing we can do, short of a v*****e, is going to prevent a single sickness or death.
