Perhaps it is that sense, delusion, of "invulnerability" of youth most of us had or have to harm and mortality. Dare! we want to say to all those hags of such egregious and overbearing caution to take a moment to help slow this spread of the v***s. Risk is life to its fullest, take a chance and don't cower in fear. Be bold! Very noble, in a way. For yourself, if you like. But forcing that on other's families, friends, and community by not complying with wearing a mask is selfish and cruel...in a way, tyranny. (Okay, maybe just plain i***tic.) Who are you to tell others how to live? And to threaten them with disease and possible death in what is essentially a bio-terrorist action. And then attack them for making their choice.

Wear a seat belt, cross at the green, don't drink and drive is not tyranny; it is common decency. And that appears the crux of the situation: immature or silly notions of both tyranny and freedom. "Don't tread on me" with your common sense and appeal to the common good. Lol. But the fact that anyone has to convince others of the blatant facts and statistics and the benefits of wearing a mask in public redefines "down the rabbit hole" to untold depths. Or defies that there is intelligent life on this planet.

Oh, that also applies to supporting Trump.

It is essential that I breathe in as much oxygen as possible. The reason for this is personal and none of your business. A mask not only cuts down on the amount of oxygen I am receiving, but it also creates a moist environment for bacteria, v***ses, and fungi to cling and grow. This would be the absolute worst thing for me to do to my lungs and my health at this point.

When you see someone without a mask, or when you post a judgemental post like you just did, you are assuming that person is being rude or careless, which makes you an ass. Perhaps they have an underlying reason for not wearing one. Each person needs to do what they feel is important and necessary for them. Please respect those who are not wearing a mask. There may be more to their story than you could possibly know.

Give toid a break. To much rum in his kool aide.

First, the masks are virtually useless in avoiding the v***s. Second as also pointed out they can cause issues with oxygen and harboring germs and causing other issue. Three, the v***s has essentially run its course and virtually the only need for masks now is so that Mayors and Governors can save face and brag about how many lives they saved, although they really didn't save any. Sweden proves this lock down and masks was all a bunch of bulls**te and the v***s has now mostly run its course. Deaths are falling towards zero and most cases, although on an increase, are because of more testing and milder then the common cold or the flu. So get off of your phony sanctimonious horse and wake up to reality.

And this has nothing to do with Trump. If you are lucky, he will be reelected and keep the Democrats from ruining America.

Nothing is as enlightening as an under-inflated ego over-inflating an issue to the point of incredulity. This is hyperbole on steroids.

I haven't even touched a frigging mask since this thing started. I am no threat to anyone simply because I don't have C***d and I ain't worried about getting it.

L*****ts, man, talk about sniveling cowards. If every l*****t in this country managed to become adults, you might see the equivalent of one man with a pair of balls. All ya gotta do is look at the miserable wretch the democrats ended up with to run for POTUS and you should be able to see the hand writing on the wall.

I have advanced COPD and emphysema. Wearing a mask for me, of course, is not just a temporary inconvenience; it is a burden. Also, I have heart disease; proper oxygen to my heart is vital. Yet not to wear a mask is still inhumane.

Judgmental? Right is right and wrong is wrong. Sorry, no "alternative facts" so popular on the Right from me. Exposing others by not doing so is, clearly, wrong...no matter the possible harm to me. I cannot and never will respect people without a mask in public: that is cut and dry wrong. I take pauses clearly away from others to lower it a bit; in my experience, such opportunities are always there. But most of those refusing masks, the vast majority by far, are not like you and I: with underlying health issues. Simply stupid, irresponsible, and selfish.

Free yourself of the Borg contagious Right.

Do you test yourself everyday, haha? Trump created wearing a mask a great political divide: do you know how totally and absurd that is? Full Lalaland!

Sniveling Leftest cowards put life preservers on their children in the pool and make them wear headgear when biking. Why can't they teach their children to dare, be bold? Hoho.

When I was 5 years old, my dad took me down to the river, to the Eagle Rock swimming hole. The river there was about 30 yards across lined with willows, the water was deep and slow moving. It swirled along the banks. Down stream about 50 yards, the river narrowed, grew more shallow, and flowed into a channel of fast moving water. At the entrance to this channel, there lay a bed of river gravel leading to the bank.

The rule was to never get downstream of the gravel bed.

My dad and I stood on the bank near the diving board, he told some things about swimming, then he picked me up by both arms, swung me back, launched me into the river, and said, "Swim, son."

Well, I swam. I did everything humanly possible to keep my head above water. I worked my legs and feet like a champion and I beat the water into submission with my arms and hands, and I kept my head above water. That was my only objective - to keep my head above water - so I gave no thought to where I was headed. I didn't know I was going downstream toward the gravel bed, I was just keeping my head above water. My dad was waiting for me there.

At age 7, I could go swimming with my friends without any adult supervision. We had inner tubes, but never a life preserver or jacket in sight.

At age 5, I graduated from a tricycle to a bicycle, by the time I was 7, I had my own bike and my own scars from learning to ride it. We never even heard of biker protective gear of any kind. Right now, I got my trusty Diamondback mountain bike to cruise on.

At age 5, I fired my first shot from a gun. A Winchester Model 70, 22 Hornet hunting rifle. My dad supervised the shot and I nailed my target. At age 7, dad gave me my very own gun. A Winchester semi-auto 22LR. Haven't k**led anybody. Yet.

This story applies to just about everyone I grew up with. That was back when the word "BOLD" actually meant something.

You place us above yourself with your foolishness. There is no logic in what you say here. Your comment is based on extreme bias to the point of blatant hostility toward Christians.

The Lord's prayer says nothing about doing unto others.

The wearing of masks in public places is to protect others; do you know with 100% certainty that you are not an aymptomatic carrier?

I know 100% that my breathing oxygen is important to me. Read my post above, and you'll know why.

He is fishing. Trying to find some way to blame it on Conservatives. (Conservatives are anyone who does not agree with him.) I have given up trying to figure him out. While I respect his military service, he has gone off the deep end.

That quote is not from the Lord's Prayer...it is a quote from Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount...and you have it wrong. It is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." It means that wh**ever is hurtful to you, do not do to any other person, which is the opposite of placing yourself and your own comfort above others.

This is the Lord's Prayer:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
