He just looks really bad as a leader, he is blowing it.
There are other countries that blew it, they tried the herd immunity thing and jammed into full lock downs in order to stop a disaster from happening...and they have dramatically slowed the spread and corresponding deaths. Blowing it doesn't mean you give up, giving up can k**l as many as two and a half million people, and I can guarantee you that before that happens there will be an intervention on the GOP and Trump.
This is simple math, and simple is the operative word here. When cases start spiking new cases starts going into exponential growth, the 50,000 cases a day and growing we are at now results in 8% hospitalized and at least a couple thousand a day dead a few weeks later. To slow that ever increasing growth down takes actions.
