"Defund the police' movement by the Left is just insane. The morale of most police departments is demoralizing to most in that particular field. Thank goodness we have a President who is pro-law enforcement and backs these guys 100%. We will see more stats like those in NYC when cities follow through on such a ridiculous plan to cut back. NYC is planning to reduce the police budget by $1 billion. Let's see how that works out. Like EL says, I never want to hear the words a "fundamental t***sformation" of this country again. Scary words. We had 9 years of Obama threatening to turn this country into a socialist/Marxist/c*******t country and now Biden is threatening to do the exact same thing. And if you don't think Obama will be pulling the strings one more time, I have a bridge in NY to sell you.

I believe most of us realize Biden is only Obama’s bid to get back into the White House to continue his plan. The organizing isn’t over yet, but it will be soon if someone with guts doesn’t step up to the plate.

What the author didn't mention is the numbers of NYPD officers who would have stayed on the job for a full 30 years who are now throwing in their papers at 20. That means the most experience is leaving the force in droves, and having lived in NY and knowing several cops as friends I don't blame them a bit -- why stay on in a dangerous and already largely thankless job, only to deal with the current state of abuse while the Democrats running the city not only don't have their backs, but are aggressively making The Job harder and more dangerous than it already is?

Spot on, Seth! It is a thankless job. And when you see these guys who risk their lives every day and then have water thrown on them for example with no back-up from this POS 'comrade" mayor? I don't mean to make light of the horrific situation in NYC but I'm so reminded of one of my favorite movies, "Ghost Busters". How the mayor, bullied by the archetype liberal official prick, forced the Ghost Busters to cease and desist. Then, literally, all Hell broke loose.

I look forward to the sequel.

Thanks! As opposed to "cradle Catholics" I've experienced growing up Lutheran, taught Sunday school and youth groups in the Presbyterian faith, and am now an Episcopalian. Catholic lite.

I aspire to be Roman Catholic but I am prevented by severe persecution from my family. Priests have counselled me to not fuel the h**e by becoming Roman Catholic at this time, I need to pray and wait. Meanwhile I spend time in Eucharistic Adoration and also faithfully attend Mass at the Anglican Catholic church, which is grudgingly allowed by my tormentor.

All this religious turmoil combined with my unconventional lifestyle prompts me to be roamin', trying to find my home.

But I live in the peace and joy of our Lord Jesus.

My friend’s son has colon cancer. He went to Catholic school but is Episcopalian and he says he’s praying and saying his Rosary constantly. The Rosary is comforting. We are in a religious war.
