I recently had someone accuse me of sounding like an “angry republican,” based simply on the facts that I have researched and written in my articles. As a result, I have decided to write a response to this accusation and set the record straight!

Let’s get one thing clear…. I don’t consider myself a republican, a tea partier, an independent or a libertarian. What I do know is that I am NOT a Democrat or a Liberal, I am not a r****t or a flat-earther or a bigot or a terrorist, as the President of the United States has described me. I am a concerned American that believes in our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, the rule of law, the free enterprise system, a days pay for a days work, the three arms of government that were put into effect to keep any one from taking too much control, a valid and honest v****g booth, a free press that actually reports the facts and not just political rhetoric, the sovereignty of our borders, the compassion, ingenuity and exceptionalism of the American people, who make up a country considered the melting pot and envy of the world.

If you still want to call me an angry republican, that is your right, because of course you have been given free speech by the blood of our Veterans, who lost their lives so you can speak your mind.

But, the t***h is, YOU would be an angry American if you had a clue about what is really going on in this country today. You do not have to be a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, a Libertarian or any other party you might happen to follow, to recognize that we are being fundamentally changed, against our will, by an administration who chooses not to follow the rule of law, who ignores the very Constitution and Bill of Rights that this country was founded on, and who stands up everyday and LIES to the American people.

Now, I am sure I have graduated from “angry Republican” to just plain “politically incorrect.” And guess what? If you did just call me “UN PC”, then you are probably part of the problem.

You might be one of those people who listen to the nightly news on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, or maybe even one who thinks Bill Maher, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart are actually “real” news people and couldn’t possibly have an agenda. You then sit back with a smug smile thinking you are informed, and even got a good laugh while getting your daily dose of the “real” news.

When you read facts reported by anyone in the know, because they actually do hours and hours of research, you can smugly call them “Angry Republicans,” while you bask in your own ignorance.

Wake up, open your eyes and watch as the Liberal left led by their king and savior, Barack Obama, take away your rights one at a time, while you are being promised that ,

And if you are truly informed and still believe that, then Barack Obama IS the savior and I am just an Angry Republican!!

Wake up, open your eyes and watch as the Liberal left led by their king and savior, Barack Obama, take away your rights one at a time.

Obama has made the classic mistake. He would have been well advised to intersperse his Alinsky studies with some Japanese history, like Hirohito; wake the sleeping giant at your own certain peril...

Americans will ultimately defend against any enemy; be they foreign or domestic.

Your anger is magnificent and expresses what tens of millions of Americans, not partisan, not r****t, not greedy, just American, are feeling and which many do not have the ability to express. But they can appreciate it when someone else does. And it motivates them.

As demonstrated by the demeaning, empty comments we see and will see here on OPP the left knows instinctively that they have pushed it too far, that our anger like their fear is palpable, that cataclysmic shift back to America is inevitable.

Please stay angry and, when the left rises to the surface, throw another grenade in the water like this one...Their whole capability is defined by a strategy of intimidation and demeaning. It's all they have.

What is going on in this country today is little different than it was under Bush save for the fact that Obama never lied us into a war. The only real difference is that while republicans were happy little campers when Bush lied to them they seem to get truely upset when Obama lies to them. Go figure...

A very well written and concise opinion. However, so many of us are able to identify problems, but have no offerings of a solution. I am a US Army Veteran of the Viet Nam era and I have seen so much corruption in business and government in my 65 years that it's unbelievable. We have "leaders" in our country that only concern themselves with the money and power associated with their positions. We, the people, elect politicians at every level without knowing anything about them because wh**ever they tell us is a lie anyway. Once in office and receiving the perks that go along with it, they forget who put them there and what they are supposed to do. Your comments are well taken, but there is absolutely NOTHING that can be done to stop the avalanche of political corruption occurring in our borders and around the world. It does absolutely nothing to identify the problems because the "police state" we live in will never allow the correct solutions to be implemented, especially if their superiors are threatened. You correct in your assessment of our system of government and it is very serious that we have such dishonest and criminal activity going on right under the noses of our so called "leaders". We are headed for some type of civil war and it won't be pretty. There will be tremendous amount of lives lost and blood spilled across this land, but Americans can be pushed around for just so long and then we fight back with wh**ever means available to us. Obama is criminal and he is laying the groundwork for his dictatorship with the entire military forces at his disposal and until the bloodshed begins he will create another Hitler era.
