Dan Bongino makes a great point.

Tonight I heard Bongino say, a fights coming. Between the right and the left. He’s correct of course. The right doesn’t want it but the left insists. He gave a great example. Remember the protest in Michigan where the right showed up? They were armed and peaceful and the left (media) went nuts. The laws were respected. Nothing was destroyed and public property was left intact. On the other hand the left protests and cities burn and get l**ted. Murders take place and public property is destroyed. Yet, the media gives them a pass.

The left needs to realize that not only do those on the right own most of the guns, we also have most of the veterans and active duty people.

And that means what? The problem wasn't the guns, it was the fact they were in the State capital. Think they'd get away with that in D.C.?

I believe the point was contrasting between a protest by the right where, even though they were armed, no one was assaulted and now property was destroyed or l**ted. The media emphasized that they were armed. Whereas the left protested, there were fires, property was destroyed, there was l**ting and people were assaulted, with some assaults resulting in the death of the victims of the assault. Also, there apparently were no laws against carrying firearms at the state capitol as no one was charged for possession of firearms.

So what? D.C. isn't a state and the state capital is separate from D.C., different rules, different leaders. Many VFW's have pocket Constitutions, they can get you one for free. Or write your congressional rep. and request one. You need to learn it, live it, and love it. You want to change something, go through the proper procedures.

There was no problem. Michigan is an open carry state. The point is they were peaceful, no destruction of property. How did you miss the obvious difference?

Got away with it in Richmond Va. and they'd get away with it in DC as long as they weren't attacked. Mike
