Cutting the NYPD Budget by 1B will only hurt poor neighborhoods where policing is necessary .As of right now crime in New York is up by 125%...And now it will get worse!!.And poor neighborhoods will suffer even more And even though he slashed money from NYPD! protesters are still not happy ... they want more cuts...AOC is definitely NOT happy

Will DeBlasio give in again and cut even more ???DeBlasio failed New Yorkers!!!! Is it time for DeBlasio to resign ?

A better question is, why did the New York people elect DeBlasio in the first place?

It's a cycle.

They elected Dinkins, and he decimated the city. They elected Giuliani, and he fixed it -- while Bloomberg wasn't my cup of tea, he at least maintained Rudy's fixes. Then, once things were stabilized, they rotated back to the hard left and put in DeBlasio. He redecimated NY, so next up will be either someone to finish the job or New Yorkers will be fed up enough to go right and elect someone to fix the city again -- then once it's fixed, they'll elect another l*****t to tear it down again.

Meanwhile, both the city and state, which seem to share the same e*******l proclivities, are bleeding the heftiest taxpayers, who are heading for the tall timber -- in this case the Carolinas and Florida -- which will only make it harder on succeeding mayors and governors who are truly interested in balancing the budgets.

Therefore, thanks mainly to the liberal elitists who constitute entirely too much if the local e*****rate, NY, both city and state, will become impossible to run without taxing what's left of the middle class completely out of existence -- or out of NY.

Having been born and raised and having spent part of my adult life in NY, it's a real heartbreaker to watch these lefties completely destroy what's left of my hometown and the state it resides in.

It's a nice place to visit, but given what these "progressives" have turned it into, I wouldn't want to live there anymore.

I loved the city when I lived there back in the day, but now the left has turned it into a s**thole.

The lefties here on OPP can defend their politics all they want and condemn conservative politicians all they want, but as someone who has seen cause and effect first-hand, sorry, but the t***h is that the left are the Johnny- come-latelies whose changes created problems that simply didn't exist, at least in the current magnitudes, before they came along.

“Who you v**e for matters” even more than “Black L***s M****rs!”

A v**e against the Democrats is a v**e for law and order! Democrats h**e law and order and cringe when law enforcement arrests l**ters and criminals.

A v**e for the Democrats is a v**e for private property destruction, chaos, civilian brutality against authority, destruction of our heritage, assault of individuals and personal injury! Democrats smile and laugh when these events occur because they h**e this country!

Satan laughs along with these black souls!
