Why did President Trump make wearing a c****av***s mask a political issue by saying "he thinks some Americans are wearing masks to show they disapprove of him and not as a preventive measure during the p******c"?
Trump turned this into a political issue when he blatantly underplayed the dangers of C****-**, to the extent that he practically denied that there was any danger at all.
The reality of it is that over 126,000 Americans have died from it, and nearly 2.5 million Americans have been infected by the v***s. Worse still, downplaying the dangers and the prevalence of the v***s is likely to have contributed to a considerable number of both cases and deaths.
Unfortunately, it’s an e******n year, and Trump rested all of his re-e******n hopes on a strong and vibrant economy. Since the C****-** crisis and the consequential lockdowns have caused an economic downturn, Trump’s only hope of reviving the economy in time for it to be the defining metric of his Presidency is waning. This is why he’s continued to downplay the dangers, and why he now insists that there’s nothing to worry about, and everyone should go back to work. It’s got nothing to do with public health and safety, but rather, Trump’s desire to see the economy rebound purely so he can be re-elected.
Thus, anyone acting as though the v***s is still a danger is clearly doing so to annoy Trump rather than to protect themselves and others: after all, the pathological liar has stated that there’s nothing to worry about. The only reason to wear a mask, then, is because you don’t approve of him.
This is what it means to live with a narcissist as President. Every action contrary to his will must be either treason or a form of protest. It’s all about him, and nothing to do with common sense, the health of the population, or the good of the United States.
Why did President Trump make wearing a c****av***s... (
