Good afternoon my sisters and brothers for Trump

My name is Jill Weinstein I am a mother and grandma, I am married to my soulmate my retired submarine sailor.

I AM A RECOVERING DEMOCRAT.

Why do I call myself a recovering democrat?

First Let me tell about my upbringing, I was raised by democrats, generations of democrats, my father’s patents immigrated here from Russia and joined The Workmen’s Circle, that is a c*******t group. All my family were democrats and most still are democrats.

I was taught, no I was indoctrinated that only Democrats cared about the working person, and only democrats would fight for the rights of the working person.
My indoctrination included Democrats protect all minorities and all marginalized people, we were all safe as long as we kept v****g for Democrats.

Democrats are the party of inclusion.

I was brainwashed to believe that Democrats are the guardians of civil liberties.
Now let me tell you about what my democratic family told me about Republicans and the Republican Party.
Republicans were the exact opposite of democrats, Republicans do notcare about the working person, Republicans only care about rich white men and large corporations.
Republicans do not protect minorities and are against all civil liberties unless you are a rich white man.
WOW imagine my shock when I finally realized I was wrong!.

My journey started in 1976 when I registered as a Democrat and v**ed for Jimmy Carter! I I v**ed for EVERY DEMOCRAT starting in 1976.

1978, this is important, I v**ed for Bill Nelson for his first term.

2004 I married my best friend, David and moved to his home in Hawaii. Hawaii quickly became my very special island.

Hawaii is a Democratic safe place, I fit right in as an always angry outraged social justice warrior.

Shortly after we married my perfect world exploded when I found an NRA membership card with David’s name on it, surely that was a mistake.

It got worse when I saw he was a registered Republican! I was horrified, but I understand he being in the military his views were skewed and he had no choice except to be a Republican.

I yelled a lot and we agreed to never discuss politics.

2008 and Barack Obama happened. David called him “The Manchurian Candidate” and I screamed and yelled.

I v**ed for Obama because he is a democrat and I believed in the hope and change. 2012, I still hadn’t seen any of the hope and change so naturally I v**ed for him again. David would say he sounded like a used car salesman.

And I shrieked louder and longer.

2013 we moved home to Florida.

I again v**ed for Bill Nelson in 2014. Slowly I began to see things I never saw before, but remember me being a democrat, I just blamed the Republicans.

Seeing what happened with the Obama administration.

President Obama’s miserable investigation of B******i.

President Obama and John Kerry’s Iran nuclear deal, they gave pallets of cash to Iran,.

Treating a staunch ally, Israel like a third world country yet bowing to a Arabian prince. as well as kissing his hand.

Weakening the military, and treating our men and women in uniform like dirt, making sailors, in a small boat kneel, and apologize for doing their job.
Obama Bowing to the ayatollah of Iran.I could go on and on but I think I finally got the message it’s getting time for me to leave the Democratic Party.

In 2015 I campaigned for Bernie Sanders because I know he’s a different kind of democrat. I also,watched the Democratic Party eat him alive. Hillary made sure Bernie never had a chance. Bernie Sanders calls himself a democratic Socialist that promised to fight the evil millionaires while he amassed over 2.5 million dollars and I watched the so called democratic socialist buy his 3rd mansion even after he told the wealthy to give away their homes, as they should only have one house.

I watched the first RNC debate and I liked what I saw, Mr. Donald Trump, I had loved him on The Apprentice.

Remember. I’m still a democrat, I see things much clearer I just can’t break free of the Democratic Party force field that was holding me hostage.

I can’t v**e for Hillary Clinton after all the horrible,things she did to not only our country but to anyone who dared challenge her.

Honestly I used to love Hillary Clinton but I don’t love her now.

Hillary called 50% of my fellow Americans a basket of Deplorables.

A few years previously I was shocked to see my husband a member of the NRA, later I became to be not only a staunch member of the NRA but learned to shoot and bought a gun. Wow! Some change hey?

In 2016 our beautiful granddaughter was born and I fell in love.

When I saw the DNC convention blatantly displaying the f**g of a c*******t country but our National f**g, the stars,and stripes was missing I started to see the light and the t***h.

I registered Republican so I could v**e for Donald Trump.

I v**ed AGAINST The Democratic Party, because I was not ready to be a republican as I was pro-choice. it was when the democrats decided a woman can k**l her baby the day of delivery then I became a Pro Life Republican.

Donald Trump became our President Elect and my family started calling me and sending me invitations to join their “not my president temper tantrums”. I refused.

President Trump was inaugurated 2017, and my life again changed.

My liberal progressive family stopped including me, Wow, which party is inclusive?

I went to my first Republican Jewish Coalition meeting.

I went to a Republican picnic to meet Republicans and David wanted to introduce me to great people, great patriots, he wanted me to meet the people I was always afraid of meeting.

2018 I did NOT v**e for Bill Nelson.

I discovered a group JEXIT, Jews exiting the Democratic Party.

We made our first trip the the Holy Land, Israel.

One Sunday evening in 2018 after our first trip to Israel we met a few of my cousins for supper, their daughter was going on her Birthright trip to Israel.

I said how I excited I am for their daughter to be educated about our history Israel, she said “you mean indoctrinated”. I said nope, “I mean educated.”

4/2019 I was one of 4 former democrats asked to speak at the Republican Jewish Coalition national conference.

What a great experience.

After all the speakers were done, President Trump actually spoke right after us.

WOW! He truly is a great man and powerful speaker! I saw President Trumps passion for our country and felt his love for me.

Dan Crenshaw was the final speaker and we exited that secured room and went to a different area, I had no idea what to expect.

This wonderful lady came up to me she gave me a big hug and thanked me for being brave and telling my story.

She asked me to look around the room and asked me what I saw.

I told her I saw very happy people, laughing smiling and having fun.

I then realized I never saw that at my democrat meetings and I was always angry and outraged.

She then took my hand and walked me across the room and said.

“Republicans give you ice cream”.

I saw a huge sundae bar.

She then said to the server “give my new Republican friend a double scoop sundae”.

I came home more enthused! I became more involved with my Brevard Federated Republican sisters.

I was basically abandoned by my democratic progressive liberal family so I made myself a new family.

Fast forward March 2020.

We were in Franklin NC visiting my momma in her memory care center.

Our last visit was March 10th because that’s the day North Carolina Governor began the c***d lockdown.

We went to this cute little cafe, I’m wearing one of my Trump shirts, this very nice man came to our table, maybe he saw my tears I don’t know.

He said, “I like your shirt”
I said, “I like your pins”.
He took them off and gave them to me.

Y’all see?
Proud to be a Republican.
Pro Life.

I’m hoping y’all can see my very long t***sition, there is hope for more democrats to also join us.

Today I stand before you a PROUD REPUBLICAN.

I am a recovering democrat because I will never forget my journey and I still remember my democrat mindset.

I want to help other democrats t***sition to the RIGHT side.

Today I am Pro GOD.

I am Pro LIFE.

I am Pro Family.

I am Pro Gun.

I am Pro constitution.

I am Pro Israel.

I love our great Constitutional Republic.

I am grateful to President Trump for Making America Great Again
President Trump got us out of the disastrous Paris Climate Accord.
President Trump rescued the USA from NAFTA and forced our NATO allies to pay.
President Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem.

President Trump cancelled democratic restrictions on businesses thereby bringing back our jobs
President Trump invited GOD back into the White House.
President Trump believes in the sanctity of ALL life.
I am a proud Z*****t, I am a proud Jewish Republican.
I love our great United States of America.
I love our great President Donald a Trump.

Together we will re-elect President Trump and take back the House.
