A clinical and forensic psychiatrist, lyle Rossiter, has treated over 1,500 patients and examined over 2700 civil and criminal cases. He is author of the LIBERAL MIND:The Pathological Causes of Political Madness, and diagnosed
this form of mental derangement known by some as MOONBATTERY....

"Based upon irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded. Like spoiled, angry children, the rebel against the normal responsibility of adulthood and demand that a parents government meet their needs from cradle to grave..............."

Basically liberalism is a willful failure to mature beyond adolescence that can have catastrophic consequences for society.

Exactly! If they don't have any facts that can be backed up this is what they say!

I'll check it out but I would hope this might be a generalization taken out of context as it seems unscientific and absurdly biased. Einstein wrote an essay that came to an opposite conclusion, for instance, and America was created by a liberal objection to the conservatism of Monarchy's strangle hold... But I'll give it a read.

Upon reading the synopsis I was struck by his notion that human history, that very conventional story that liberalism seems to undermine, currently has us worried we may not survive too much more of Human conquest and bellicosity. That may be the case for pursuing a different course- of almost any kind.
Thinking outside the norm, outside the box, has, historically, heralded in so much of our growth spurts, inventions and experiments that have brought us through to the present. Liberal concepts- like civil rights, the value of individuality and individual freedoms, the idea of Democracy, are not the pejoratives claimed in the synopsis of the book in my estimation. I'll read it though.,

The medieval concept of Two cities; order below and salvation above achieved by King and church working together were subject to this unchangeable law whether they were rulers or the ruled. In the middle ages, the King was a creature of law which he swore to safeguard and the law makes the King. He was not the creator of law; his power was not above the law and consequently he could not arbitrarily change it. No legal understanding was more widespread in the medieval period than that which declared the "ruler to be under the law" and subjects had the right to resist and freed from oaths of fealty when the law was violated by the ruler. This comparison with current events and the medieval concepts of law and order rings true.

And remember, just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you ;^}

I will be on pins and needles awaiting your book review.

I have one question: If I can find one geologist that "knows" the earth is flat and all the others don't know it is flat, am I safe saying I have evidence that the world is flat?

Do you believe Obama is a Muslim? I know a guy who knows for sure he is. Do you believe Obama was born in Hawaii? Someone told me he was born in Kenya and the guy who told me this was a high school graduate, so he couldn't be wrong. Do you believe Obama h**es America? He didn't wear a f**g pin at a ceremony somewhere and that proves it to anyone but libtards that he h**es America.

I think that the author said "modern liberalism", not the liberal concepts that founded this country. The references to liberal and conservative are of ideas reversed from their previous usage. I believe that the change came about after WWII and fully developed during the 60's and 70's. Modern liberals are entirely different and all seem to be self indulgent children in adult bodies. They work with the belief "life is tough, it's not fair so give me what ever you have to make it fair (in outcome) Conservatives believe "Life is tough, it was meant to be. Get used to it JUST COPE WITH IT"

I have found that the dumber you are the harder life is for you and dealing with it causes right wing extremism.
