Interesting that you equate bank robbery, a major felony, with sneaking over a fence to feed your family. Agreed that some illegal border crossers are bad people but the majority are not. T***h is America needs immigrant labor to do certain jobs that Americans won’t touch such as picking tomatoes, strangling chickens and marrying Donald Trump.
Absent is an immigrant labor program that has tiered levels of sk**led workers that are issued day, weekly or monthly passes to cross the border legally to work. Overstaying could be discouraged by only paying wages through a Mexican Bank south of the border.

Both parties have failed to address the growing shambles singularly and collectively.

How about if my family is squatting on someone's property....

Should the kids get to stay because they're innocent???

Or does the property owner have rights?

Based on what reasoning???

PR is obviously making an emotional call on this one but my reason is more pragmatic.
These young people, for the most part, appear to have integrated well and merged with our culture, a number are first responders. Ironic they should be in the crosshairs of the Constitutional purists while their crime rate is a fraction of the general population. Can we deport the indolent self entitled mamas basement dwellers and assorted pimps, s**mmers, drug peddlers and career criminals that seem to make up a sizable portion of the general population?

The idea has merit (and we could pay poor countries an allowance to take them.)

Seems an unlikely comparison. We are talking about a country here, not Old McDonalds Farm.

A comparison concerning individuals occupying property that they have no legal right to Vs individuals occupying a country they have no legal right to..

Seems apt...

It is the correct terminology...

Why deflect???

You disliked the bank robbing comparison...

Should the children of squatters be given any legal rights over the property their parents were illegally occupying???

It's a yes or no question...

I'm fully behind the exevution of criminals...

Reporters are fine...

As long as they stick to the facts and don't interject their own spin....

I believe President Trump should leave DACA kids alone!! They are not at fault, especially if they were too young to realize what their parents were doing!! They don't know any other country , but this one ..Where are you planning to send them??? My son's fiance is DACA kid and I love her dearly and will fight for her if it comes down to it! She is better person than mist l*****ts on OPP!!!I'm sorry if you guys don't like this, but this is my opinion!

There needs to be a solution to the problem. Obama created this confusion with his illegal executive order. By the legal understanding of executive orders, is that a new President can write an executive order overturning an executive order of a predecessor. Except in this one case, where no one is allowed to change it. Trump announced that DACA was illegal and he would end it. Rather than just doing away with it and immediately deporting the DACA kids, he told Congress to fix the law and he was giving them 6 months to pass legislation. Congress chose not to do their job, which brings us to this mess. It is beyond time for Congress to take responsibility for their inaction.

Obama was attempting to fix the solution.... He took an important first step... That should have resulted in resolution...

Instead it has been kicked around like a political football...

I don't particularly like Obama... But good on him for this one. It's something that needs addressing...

I agree with Trump's strategy as well... He is also looking for resolution...

How is this not something easily resolved??? Pathway to citizenship based on merit... Like any other foreigner... Is being raised in the US with a US education not going to put you at the top of the list????
