I am confused when I hear the word " Service " used with these agencies:
Internal Revenue 'Service'
U.S. Postal 'Service'
Telephone 'Service'
Cable TV 'Service'
State, City, County & Public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'
This is not what I thought 'Service' meant. But today, I overheard two farmers talking. One of them said he had hired a bull to 'Service' a few cows. BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.

Growing up, as I did, in rural NM, I've understood the concept of "service" since childhood. I understand that my military "service" was sometimes a two-way street. That's why I support Veteran's causes. This probably explains my dislike of bureaucrats and anyone who advocates anything that creates more of them.

:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: I guess the term service has dual intent. Are you the servicer, or the servicee. Your perspective changes based upon which you actually are at any given time.
