How can the law reflect what most of the citizens refuse to see as skewed? The culture itself is biased. That's why this clarification by SCOTUS is needed. The vocal opposition to a simple assertion of non discrimination reveals in many their willingness to be joyfully available for just such discriminatory practices.

Unless, of course, they are defending their individual freedoms.

And what warning are you making? Do you and you intend to go all Rambo because you didn't get your way? That fits with the regressive macho-man that I imagine you to be. Plus, you've overlooked adultery and any slew of sins in your president so what it is about homosexuality that won't allow you to leave that judgment to your god?
Twas not I that issued the warning.

I truly do not care what you imagine me to be, your imagination is as far away and foreign to me as the other side of the universe.

The law is pretty clear, in many states wrongful dismissal as a violation of civil rights is determined by an administrative law judge. Both employee and employer present evidence to make their case.

The law is even clearer on i*****l i*******ts and Demon rats always break those laws.

Do you mean like small businessmen ? Demon Rat Governors used the power of the state to attack them and their customers on the C****-** restrictions and then gave their left wing buddies who r**ted, l**ted, and burned a pass.

The small business people were easy to crap on. In blue and purple states the governors, threatened business persons with the loss of their permits, if they defy lockdowns. They even threaten Counties with the loss of Federal Funds if they dare to want to open ahead of their Demon Rat masters.

Why is it the Demon Rats always treat law abiding citizens second rate and all the while give scum bag r****rs the benefit of the doubt ? Why is that ?

I think justice and just outcomes should be important to everyone. We have a stacked Supreme Court. It was stacked purposely to render conservative outcomes. That an actual just outcome was given by a clear majority says something and makes me feel just a little better about our court and this country that we live in...

Those ugly Supreme Court l*****t hags are totally bought and sold. I have never known any of them to v**e yes for a Conservative cause that they must render an opinion on. They are totally biased and should be recusing themselves on gay matters since all 3 of them are involved in l***qxyz causes and 1 is a lesbian.

I believe in original intent. I believe in the original meaning of English words. I know I am a dinosaur."

OR:

"21st century USA, not the Biblical Old World."

Which is it?

Hint. Language is descriptive, not proscriptive and generally follows contemporary meaning.

Which is what ?

" Hint. Language is descriptive, not proscriptive and generally follows contemporary meaning. "

So if contemporary folks say that up no longer means up, then in a law it can mean down ?

God explicitly stated that homosexuality is an a*********n and he states that in 3 books of the Bible. That is the only sin that is categorized as an a*********n to God. Yes adultery is a sin as is fornication and bestiality. Who is claiming that they are not sins?? We even have 1 admitted homosexual on the Supreme Court. I am sure you know who nominated her? Yes, you are right, the sexually perverted Bathhouse Boy, ovommit.

The SCOTUS ruling? I dunno.

Sometimes rulings from on high result from or in a groundswell of popular support from an unexpected coalition of forces when the mood is right.

And the people rejoice and prosper.

And the Wheel of Fortune grinds on, millenia after millenia.

Strict constructionist or modern day definitions.

Are you aware the thumbs up sign, in the Coloseum days, meant to execute the gladiator?

You can't legislate morals . You punish crimes an acts of lewd &
lucidious acts an perversions. You don't give special rights to some without taking rights from others . It's cockeyed corrupt civil rights bull crap.
