This cat is a great friend and also a babysitter.
Stay well.

LOL, good one Mike...
I have 7 cats. All rescues. Every one of them as different as they can be. Cats are very responsive and loving to humans who treat them right.
It is written:
Proverbs 12:10
Contemporary English Version
Good (wise) people are kind to their animals, but a mean person is cruel.
Animals teach me a deep appreciation for life.
I live 7 miles outside of my very small town. Nothing but farmland...rabbits...snakes...squirrels...suicidal birds.
I have to be very careful any time I'm in the car.
I even love and have compassion for animals I eat and my soul
groans along with all Creation for the end of human governance.
What happens next will make this present trouble worth it.

They're OK with being by themselves.
Trust me...half of humanity could benefit from
that simple lesson.
God speaks to me through my cats all the time. He uses anything and everything else He wants, of course, but many of my more intimate lessons come from Him through
them.Ain't that funny?

Had 4 cats at once some years ago. Each was SO different. One even thought she was a watchdog. Once, one of them got hit by a car and ran away. Another one of them ran after him and once he stopped, she stood over him comforting him. That's how we found him and got him to a vet. Years later, he died from a stroke. I had never even imagined that cats died from strokes. Stupid, I guess....why not? Still miss them.
Stay well!

That was beautiful entertainment and heart warming. I love cats, dogs ,and mostly all creatures great and small. Thanks for posting.
Out of the violent miseries we are seeing, these pets have soothed my heart.

I miss them all. There's a bunch buried in the yard. I have a kitty cemetery...markers and all.

They sure give a person
perspective if they're watching for it. We all need some perspective here and there.
All Creatures Great and Small...

All Creatures Great and Small... I've read most if not all James Herr**t's books. The author of All Creatures Great and Small.
My wife was a horse-person...Passos, in fact.
She had all of his books and
adored him.
An obviously wise person!
